Hotel needs inspecting asap. My husband booked the hotel. I didn’t have time to check it properly online so went with it. Big mistake. The pictures online are deceiving and not what the hotel looks like at all. We went through the hotel entrance, all looked very nice, lady on reception, good customer service. Gave us directions to our room, ground floor, all was well so far… Opened the door…So outdated. Black mould and condensation on the windows. Beds pushed up against the windows, damp curtains dirty windowsills. Moved the beds. Furniture outdated, decor very old. Plugs in awkward places. Broken lamp shades. Bathroom…a sliding door entrance, wood on the door perishing, dust and dirt in the bath tub, old tiles and damp. Beds were made, looked clean on so didn’t inspect them too deeply. I didn’t want to face what may be lurking. Pool area is a disaster waiting to happen. Absolutely shocking! Tiles missing off walls, doors missing from lockers, lockers not working properly, one cubicle where the door was falling apart at the bottom. 100% unhygienic, the showers were useless, no staff member around to speak to either. No life guard. No safety. The pool area was dark and dingy, very run down. Needs closing and revamping in al areas especially where electrical equipment is in place. Shocked to see a baby swim class taking place knowing the state of the pool and changing areas. I would have cancelled my baby swim lessons after one visit. Breakfast was about the only pleasant experience. We enjoyed the choice on offer, the only negative was some young lad being overly loud, appeared from no where and shouting at guests asking what room number they were. He kept disappearing and coming back. Annoying. As we left the car park you could see from the outside just how run down the place was. CCTV cameras literally rusting and hanging off the walls, the owner obviously doesn’t care judging by the previous responses. We stayed days before Christmas and nothing from what previous complaints have been made have been repaired or rectified. Basically taking people’s money, advertising a false advertisement of the hotel, serious health and safety violations too. Compliance may be followed on paper by the hotel but I doubt an inspector would agree. Overall I would not recommend and I think this hotel is on borrowed time…

Terrible Break fast, pool, bed, tv, room furniture. I'm tired of being fooled by these hotels that advertise beautiful photos on booking.com and then don't deliver what they advertised. I feel cheated. The room furniture horrible and old it was frustrating, I definitely won't stay there again, the pool needs renovation.

Great hotel but the real show stopper is the staff, special shout out to Irene. I honestly believe people will come back for her outstanding customer service alone. The hotel itself has everything you need. We're back and forth to Manchester every few months and we will only book this hotel from now on. Ankunft mit Sondereinweisung zur Toilettenspülung Gleich bei der Ankunft hat uns unser Reiseleiter über die besondere Nutzung der Toilettenspülung informiert. Funktionierte dann in den meisten Fällen allerdings nicht. Muss sich ein Hotel so etwas im 21. Jahrhundert leisten??? Renovierungen ermöglichen bessere Leistungen. Service sieht anders aus.
