We booked last minute through secret escapes. A break with some friends. What a fantastic hotel. Lovely welcome on arrival. Really loved the artwork in the reception and throughout the hotel. Quirky but fitted in so well. The architecture and decor was so well coordinated. The bedrooms were a good size and spotless. Lovely fluffy towels! We started the evening with a cocktail served by the lovely, helpful barman. Dinner was a very relaxed meal served in the restaurant with nice ambient lighting. I had arancini as a starter followed by a perfectly cooked salmon. All our meals were excelkent, served again, by lovely staff. We only had one night here but the best was yet to come in the form of breakfast. We all agreed it was probably the best hotel breakfast any of us had eaten. Fresh, hot and tasty. This is definitely on our return list. Thank you for making our very short break so good.

All the reviews about excellent staff and food are true. I came as part of a coach party and the service was exceptional. So lovely to get staff who go out of their way to do a superb job. The food was top notch, a good choice and presented well. At breakfast time they replenished the food if need be and never ran out of anything. The hotel is in a very peaceful setting with good parking. The rooms are large with very comfortable beds. Yes they are a little dated, but in my opinion , not an issue. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday a special one. Hopefully we will be back again.

Me, my mum and my sister came to Bowden hall dining pods to celebrate my mums 60th birthday the food was lovely the atmosphere was great and Jack our server has been absolutely amazing and made the experience much more enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay at Bowden Hall Hotel. All of the staff are so helpful and welcoming. Our room had everything we needed and we booked a garden room so we had a nice view. The room and bathroom were lovely and clean. My husband is a celiac and we were super impressed with their care and attention to ensure his needs were taken care of. The food was very good quality. We loved the breakfast buffet, there was a wide variety of choices. The service in the restaurant was exceptional. Wed like to particularly mention the two blonde haired waitresses that looked after us at breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. We would have rated this hotel 5 stars but for a couple of points: No lifts and the carpet in the bedroom was badly stained. A lovely hotel in a great location, good value for money and with exceptional staff. We'd love to stay again. Thank you.

Lovely stay here for 3 days. Food was excellent and we ate in restaurant every night not something we usually do. Breakfast also beautifully presented and constantly being refreshed. We stayed in accessible room 227. Lovely and clean and big and accommodated my wheelchair with room to spare. The wheelchair lift worked perfectly but only operated by staff and felt sorry for them when dealing with guests, phone ringing and us waiting for them to operate lift, maybe 2 staff on reception? Have never met such helpful friendly staff in all departments especially Keira on reception and a lovely lady from Lithuanian, she was a gem. Only problem if you are wheelchair user from the car park to building is very steep and difficult to push up the hill. There are only 2 disabled bays nearer the building, maybe there should be more. Thank all staff for their friendliness and helpfulness.
