New Year Eve party and overnight stay.

Four of us booked a package deal of New Years Eve party and overnight stay, The Privilege rooms were very large and well furnished. The evening meal was very good indeed with great Service and food of good quality. After the three course meal and coffee they brought a range of cheese and biscuits and chocolates and Turkish delight. Can I mention the DJ and the Singer, they were absolutely Brilliant ! They read the mood perfectly and played and sang some great music and really made a terrific evening. Lastly, after a good nights sleep we had a very varied and excellent breakfast. I cannot praise the Staff enough they did a great job and we had a very memorable time. Without doubt we will consider a similar experience next year.

Great little hotel

Twixtmas break here, all good, the receptionist on arrival was most welcoming and helpful, the room was well appointed, but a little tired, usual hotel needs a bit of a facelift, but times have been tough since Covid situation, but all clean, and free parking, lovely quiet location, with beautiful grounds and nice staff. Can't comment on dinner as we arrived late after visiting in laws, but breakfast was good, with a smiley young lady who seems to cope with it all very efficiently. We will return to this hotel, as better than the modern brick boxes nearer the motorway.

The staff here are great and very fair. The building and grounds are stunning and it’s a convenient location with good food. The rooms are spacey but, like the corridors, are beginning to look tired.

Oscar was AMAZING this entire trip. We met him on our 2nd day here and served our Christmas meal to us. He is amazing, funny, humble, and an exceptional worker. Top tier service here because of him.

Comfortable, located just off the motorway, but needs a refurbishment

I stayed here for one night in December 2025. I chose this hotel as it was on the way to where I needed to be the next day and I didn't want to face the traffic driving into central Bristol. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city in a rural setting and is not far from the M4. There is an Aldi supermarket a couple of miles from the hotel. The hotel has a large carpark. The hotel is fine and somewhat elegant but is starting to show its age. The first impression is that the driveway has several potholes (that should be easy to fix!) and the interior of the hotel would benefit from a refurbishment, eg new paint, carpet etc. There are several lounge areas good for having a drink and relaxing. I can see that this would be a good venue for a corporate retreat, wedding etc. The dinner menu was varied and the breakfast was fine, ie a good selection of cold items and a cooked breakfast available.
