rooms great food poor quality

The hotel is dated and in need of decor but that you can live with and totally understand the rooms were spotlessly clean, but what i cant understand is why you would have a chef that really doesn't cook, the photos of the food looked great but sadly the reality is all frozen foods with no imagination, the menu looked tacky so wasn't surprised when the food arrived, such a real shame as it could be so much better. Prices were high for what you recieved.

Had a fantastic stay at the Mercure in Bristol! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the hotel itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. A special shoutout to Mo on the team—super friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make our visit extra special. It’s rare to get that level of customer care, and it really made a difference. Would absolutely recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back!
