We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We arrived very late at night but were greeted with a smile and welcome. It was a hot day and so we were relieved that this hotel has great air con! We’ve had bad air conditioning experiences in Europe but this hotel had amazing A/C. If you’re from Australia or the US you should be okay here with your A/C needs! The room was big, staff were friendly, bathroom spacious, and breakfast was really nice. There is even an outdoor area for you to sit. If you have kids I think this hotel is perfect - there were lots of families there having a wonderful time. There is a pool on the top floor which seemed very popular. Brilliant location - next to HbF and easy to get to old town and trams.

You know what to expect with the Novotel product, and those expectations were met with respect to staff attitude, professionalism and friendliness. The rooms are well equipped, functional, clean and well serviced. Equally, the location is very central, adjacent to the central station and is a 10 minute walk to Lorenzkirche, Old Town. You can also take the u-Bahn (1 stop). If you plan to hire a car for your stay, the car park in this hotel is excellent. The daily rate of 17 Euros is reasonable for city centre parking. Note this is the Guest rate. The garage is not as narrow as other underground car parks, is bright and airy, and the spaces are generous. There is a lift from level -1 to ground floor, which takes you to the lobby. You settle the ticket at the reception. Very easy and convenient. We had an Executive Room, which gave us a little more space, but also offered a daily selection of drinks in the fridge (beer, water, apple juice and coke). Sleep quality was excellent. The mattress was super comfortable. The drinks in the bar were reasonable too.

Excellent 4-star hotel, with an eye for the fifth: modern, excellent location and, last but not least, excellent value for money. A few steps from the Hauptbahnhof Main Station, if you arrive by train; if you come by car, there is a discounted parking; by taxi from the airport : € 30! Among other things, as one might say, the Königstrasse begins almost right on the corner for a visit to the the city center. (Naturally on foot). The rooms are beautiful, "still" with a wardrobe, spacious and well soundproofed. Plus, a pleasant surprise: lots of sockets to charge cameras, phoned and watches. And here we will be at the score, 10... but to be be a little fussy, I will remove a few points: there is the ironing board, the bathrobes but not the slippers (why? Forget them?) Yes, the kettle, but "problem" with the replacement of coffee and tea sachets (strictly counted) and the tray with used sachets, sometime, left in it! One question: "But is the coffee pod machine only for the suites?" Apart from that: the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was excellent. I would like to point out, to increase the -score-: the beautiful swimming pools, the gym with the magnificent equipment of the tools, and, always at the top, sixth floor, the magnificent solarium (there is also a fitness center and sauna, but I didn't use it) And, finally, to make another point: the breakfast, if I say it has everything, I mean, nothing is missing! And we want to say: parents or grandparents, with children, till sixteen years old: no charge!

This hotel is 250–300 m from the main railway station (Nuremberg HBF) and similar distance to the old town. There is a Lidl supermarket downstairs at the main railway station. Everything we needed for a perfect three nights stay in Nuremberg. It was school holidays, so there were many many children in the hotel so we did not have breakfast at the hotel. We are a bit older and don’t need to be entertained by everyone’s children over breakfast. We were upgraded to an executive room that was very very spacious for a European hotel. It is a modern and light filled hotel, with a good size mini fridge.

Great bed but terrible towels

We enjoyed an upgrade to an executive room due to our Accor membership status. The room was spacious with an internal door that separated the bedroom from the entry way and the bathroom. This door kept out all noise from the public hallway. The recently refurbished room was tastefully decorated with an extremely comfortable bed and linens. The towels are small and worn. They barely absorbed water. They desperately need replacing.
