Picked this hotel due to the location near our car return along Fürther Strasse. Reasonably priced rooms. Parking is available inside for €20 or you can try your luck at the neighbouring estate on the street. Also note that there free 30 min parking if you need to drop off your bags. In all a reasonable place to stay.

I'm stunned my company paid what it did for this worn-out hotel. Aside from the nice gentleman at the reception. IT was a disappointing stay. There were no rooms left in Nuremberg because of a conference, and I was stuck here. I went to the restaurant and wanted to sit in the dining room, but the very rude manager pushed me to sit in the bar, where it was noisy and not comfortable, and I was forgotten. Several other people were pushed to the bar, assuming to save the tables for a bigger party, which never came.. Ahmed, I think his name was just not pleasant. The food was meh. felt very microwaved and definitely not worth the price. 14EU a day for parking was clearly a revenue source and not an obvious part of the stay. a rip off. The room was again old and worn. The single bath towel was crunchy and small, the pump soaps were watered down.. nah.. thank goodness it was company money and not mine. (Sorry, company). wouldnt reccomend it at all.. especially for a visit to nurnberg.

Allgemein gut, aber es könnte ein bisschen sauberer sein. Unter dem Bett haben wir einen alten Schuh gefunden, Fernbedienung war schmutzig und das Bett roh allgemein ein bisschen muffelig. Dazu hat das Mercure Schild auf dem Hotel noch komplett geleuchtet

Perfect place for a pitstop between Berlin and Munich 😉 The hotel was packed; I had never seen the parking lot that full. The hotel is close to a supermarket, and the old town is not that far, only minutes by car or a nice walk. The rooms are basic but have nice walk-in showers. They normally have a fridge in the room, but somehow, in our room, the fridge was missing. This was no issue, as it was only for one night, and the second room had a fridge.

We only booked hotel an hour before arrival as we had been so disappointed at previous hotel in Rothenburg de Tauber and had left. Friendly staff. Super parking. Good size room. Outdoor small pool if decent weather. Good bar area and decent breakfast. Super cycle paths into Nuremberg thru park and woodland as well as paved. Really enjoyed Nuremberg history and museums. A good base.
