We enjoyed, but found a couple of things slightly weird

Very reasonable prices. Lots of parking spaces, very large room, king sized bed. Balcony overlooks the lake - however room service doesn't open before 5.00pm - how disappointing and ridiculous. For some unknown reason we avoided eating at the main restaurant, instead we ate at the bar. We really enjoyed the Pulled Pork Tacos and the Sweet Potato Fries at the Miss Caroline bar. On the other hand, the Saloumi board was a great disappointment - everything WRAPPED and served in a cardboard box, a packet of crackers, two cheeses, prosciutto in a packet that could not be opened, NO Salami or Pickled Vegetables, so I am not sure exactly what we got. The outside entertainment was excellent. HINT Ask for room near the lifts and car park.

As a group of ten friends we went to the restaurant at this hotel. We were all very impressed by the great food, all meals were delicious and well presented. The staff were very attentive and friendly, offering suggestions. All over a lovely experience and we will return.

We stayed at the Mercure Caroline Springs for six days and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service from the staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. The cleanliness of the room was top-notch, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and well-maintained. As a Platinum member, the added benefits made our stay even more enjoyable and worthwhile. The team was very accommodating throughout, and every request was handled promptly and professionally. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area—whether for business or leisure, you’ll be well looked after!

We stayed for 4 nights for a special event. Our room was very large with view over the lake. The bathroom was also large. The food at breakfast was good and the banquet food was very good with large servings. The banquet mananger was very helpful. The car parking was undercover.

Not a great stay.

We arrived late at night and very tired from our long flight. Check in was ok but then the drama started. Our room card would not work on the guest car park entry and then in the early hours of the morning other hotel guests entered our room and obviously scared us awake. Not their fault that they had been allocated our room. Then 1/2 later reception ring and want us to verify what room were in and suggested a room swap, highly unprofessional at 4.30am, I was furious. Next day our room key didn't work on our door again and that night sure enough no access to the car park also. Room curtains were damaged and didn't cover the window, so the room was bright from early morning. Female toilets in the public area were filthy, we advised reception but 2.5 hours later they were the same, disgusting. Seemed to be a "who cares" attitude by senior staff. aside from thatr the room was excellent, clean and comfy bed. Great bathroom and the location of the hotel is fantastic too.
