The pictures of course shows a very high end style resort, however in general the grounds, rooms, facilities are all in dire need of renovation. The first impression you have does have its "wow" factor, but after closer inspection the place really does not deserve its claimed 5 Star rating, poor construction finishing, the grounds are not well kept (quite messy) and the included breakfast was really below standard, very poor selection and the location on the 4th floor, whilst it gave some spectacular views, only serves to distract you from the poor choices availible. Room service only availble up until 10pm, which is not a good option for those who have travelled far. However, the staff of course are very friendly and accommodating and do try to help as much as they can, but they are limited in what they can deliver, so thats a case for the management not providing enough tools and training. An email exchange in trying to get a self drive car, was not an easy task, with many misunderstandings - again they did try, but limited in what they can deliver A 3 to 4 star rating if I was being honest overall - if you bill yourselves as 5 Star then do so, or else be honest and do not charge 5 Star and disappoint customers with sub-par service

Love the quiet environment & best of all, the easy walk to the white temple. Breakfast was really delicious. The staff, from reception to restaurant & housekeeping, were pleasant & polite. We paid for half board & had 3 breakfasts & 3 dinners. Selection was pretty limited at dinner eg main course section had only 2 Thai dishes versus 4 western dishes. Hotel rooms were a bit run down. Changed room from unit 223 because curtains could not be drawn to shut out the light. Didn’t like the rather large black bathtub sited between the bed and the shower & toilet stalls. Overall, a pleasant experience.
