My invoice was higher than my booking and nobody is answering

Good stay. But what is the value of that if when I received the bill is 100 dollars more than my booking and Sofitel is not answering after my inquiry, two days ago. We were planning to head back, guess it is not going to happen

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, We had the pleasure of staying at your hotel, Sofitel Montevideo, from Thursday, 16 May to Sunday, 19 May 2024 (guest names: Michael L. and Birgit Seggedi / booking number: NJMSFRFC). Also, I am an Accor Gold Member. First of all, I have to say that the staff was really friendly, however, we did experience several issues during our stay, some of which we found to be unacceptable considering the price category of the hotel. 1. When entering the room, we noticed that the room was a bit smelly. 2. The window for the balcony was mechanically broken and couldn´t be opened. properly 3. The walls were partly dirty. 4. Other than two bottles of water, the minibar was empty (no beer, no wine, nothing!) – this is not acceptable for a 5* hotel. 5. There was no milk provided for coffee. 6. Ordering food (room service) took 45 minutes. But after complaining, it was free (besides, the in-room dining food was expensive). 7. The telephone in our room 1127 was not working properly and when calling the reception nobody picked up the phone. If you want to be a proper 5* hotel, you must be more careful and take better care of your customers. Best regards, Michael L.
