We arrived and from the airport we tried contacting the hotel numerous times to pick us up (in the rain and wind). We finally caught a yellow bus that cost us $16 to the hotel. When we got to reception, I mentioned that we tried and tried calling and I did not get an apology or a sorry or anything!! The next day, we left for our journey to Tauranga. When we unpacked, I realised that I did not have my phone charger in my suitcase and checked my husbands as well. I contacted Ibis budget in Auckland on numerous occasions with no-one answering the phones day or night!! This was very frustrating as we tried on different days. Finally, got hold of a staff member and I gave them my name and room number 222..being told that nothing was found and in the lost property register. After, I hung up my husband said it was actually Room 622, not 222. So I tried contacting again with no luck.. I also emailed All-Accor and got no response. Also, my husband noticed that he had left behind in the room his hearing aid container with batteries for his hearing aids. On our way back to Auckland to return home, my husband and I dropped by to the Ibis to check again. The lady at reception I spoke with, looked in the box with phone chargers left behind, with no luck.. she also looked in another cupboard again with no luck. I was frustrated and disappointed with the lack of service we received and would not really recommend Ibis to anyone.

Don't pay for their breakfast; they don't really have it

I paid for the stay with breakfast and the conformation says: "À la carte breakfast with a choice of 5 hot and cold dishes. Breakfast served from 7 a.m." But they don't offer breakfast at the hotel, instead, they give you a voucher to have breakfast in one of the coffee bars outside. Well, to have breakfast outside you don't need them, just go there and ask what you want, without paying for the price of the hotel.
