I had a great experience and time here. You can surely spend a wonderful time here. Food was so delicious and the room was comfortable. I was so relaxed. I'm addition, the hotel was close to the city, so it is convenient to see around the town and sea. I would like to come here again.

Grand Mercure hotel is a very grand hotel with lots of facilities. Quiet environment. Great view. Rooms are very cozy and clean. Good breakfast. Helpful staffs. It is very convenient that it has shuttle bus to beach. Had a pleasant stay here.

THE BEST HOTEL IN OUR VIETNAM TRIP!

We found this hotel during extensive research of the numerous hotels in Danang. You are literally spoiled for choice! There was a video on YouTube from an Accor loyalty member in which the manager of the hotel (David) put on a comedy performance that would grace any British Pantomime! That sealed the deal for us! We booked a suite here, it was beautiful, really spacious with the most amazing view of the Dragon Bridge. The bedroom was spacious , the bed was huge and really comfortable. The Flat screen TV came with Netflix, Prime etc. The separate lounge helped me not to interrupt the boss’s sleep while I battled with jet lag! The bathroom and walk-in closet were about the same size as my first apartment in the 70’s. The rainfall shower was a monsoon and the tub was mahoosive! The bathroom was stocked with all the bells and whistles along with the softest bathrobes you’ll ever find in a hotel! We ordered room service a couple of times, the food was top notch and reasonably priced, as was the minibar. Breakfast (we ate in the restaurant and the privilege lounge) was top notch, the omelettes were medal winners! There are a couple of restaurants, both are really, really good, a section Chinese restaurant’s menu is available on the room service menu. The pool isn’t huge but more than big enough, the Sun loungers are super comfortable and although we never used the spa, other gusts raved about it! The stars of the show are (without doubt) the staff, each and everyone work hard to make your day the best it can be. SO BE NICE! We met Duong on our first afternoon at the hotel and she spent the time to steer us in the right direction regarding the hotel’s facilities and her help was most appreciated. A big shout out to all the restaurant staff, especially Giang and an extra one for Ni, who looked after us most days, what a star she is! Hông, who looked after us in the lounge, is a wonderful young woman. My wife was unwell one day and the concern Hông showed and the help she provided was so very thoughtful and much appreciated. Thank you so much Hông! Also in the lounge (on our last evening) were So’n (great sense of humour and an lovely manner) Thinh and Ngoc who (in a busy lounge) made sure everyone was looked after and everything ran like clockwork. Upon leaving we were checked out and looked after by Trang, she was wonderful and so very helpful with our onward journey! The team here are amazing people! Some have said on here this hotel is ‘out of the way’ nothing could be further from the truth. It’s a £1 Grab ride from the beach front, which has 24 hour construction one end and beach clubs (that play music to keep you awake till 2am) the other. From the hotel you cross the road to a river front promenade that leads you to the Dragon Bridge, along the way there are local vendors and numerous photo points. A Grab car is usually only a minute or two away, we never waited longer than four minutes! So if you’re looking for a beautifully designed and decorated oasis of calm in the middle of this vibrant city, this is it! It has amazing facilities, amazing views and the staff are the most amazing of all! This is the best hotel of our three week trip to Vietnam by a country mile and the other four have been top notch, but the Grand Mercure Danang tops the charts, if you stay here you will not be disappointed! It leads the way by a country mile!
