I had booked 2 rooms staying for 1 night with my family, it was a great experience, the hotel is located in between Sheung wan and central, it was easy to go from airport. When I arrived in the hotel, Sarah from the reception was welcoming me and my family with very positive energy, she had guided me to go to places like big Buddha, and also explained everything very well, well done and sure will come back for another visit

This hotel is very nice location and easy to go to the airport and the shopping center by tram in front. Around the hotel have a lot of nice restuarant and coffee shop. The room is very nice, cosy and clean. Hotel staff (Sarah) is very nice and heplful

Most of our guests enjoy exploring our neighborhood Sheung Wan and Central, which are interesting places blending East and West when staying with us. Apart from riding a tram to Lan Kwai Fong or Soho in just a few minutes, guests can also find various tourist spots like Man Mo Temple, revitalised buildings such as Tai Kwun, PMQ and Central Market which were opened just a few years ago, art galleries, museums and also modern restaurants on Hollywood Road near the hotel. Hotel Ibis Hong Kong Central & Sheung Wan The review refers to the travel period November 2024 and room 2716, traveling as a couple without children. Normal standards for amenities and food, not luxury travelers. Hotel in general Relatively large hotel with 550 rooms on 32 floors. Reception on the 5th floor and breakfast room on the 6th floor attractively furnished. Unfortunately we couldn't find a place in the breakfast room where it wasn't very cold because of the strong air conditioning, so better dress warmly. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable in all areas. Good location, Ding Ding, and bus in front of the door, a few minutes to the metro and Macau ferry terminal, cheap supermarket and Seven Eleven nearby. Food Breakfast OK, more geared towards Asian guests, there are lots of hot dishes, but not much for a German breakfast, no cheese or cream cheese, 2 types of sausage and toast. Guests also had to point out frequently that some things were empty and needed to be refilled, even when the restaurant was not very busy. Room 2716 Standard room, with a harbor view, the size is OK for Hong Kong but with very few storage options, it is barely enough for one person. The light switch for the bathroom is on the wrong side outside, very inconveniently placed. Some minor cosmetic defects that need to be repaired, see photos. The beds are very hard, despite the extra topper that the hotel offers. The room is the last one in the hallway, so there is little noise from other guests, but unfortunately the staff elevators are opposite and you can hear them constantly, even during the night. We noticed that some rooms seem to have yellow, red or blue tinted windows, which then colors the room in the corresponding color when light comes in from outside, which would have been disturbing for us. Due to the view and location, room 3108 would probably be the best room. Staff/service All of our special requests were fulfilled and queries were answered quickly by email. May I share with you that we do have a renovated room from August last year for our guests to consider. Namely “MyRoom by Jennifer: My Residence / Queen Room”, the 17 sqm cozy room features a tasteful blend of soothing colors and soft lighting. The well-equipped amenities include USB charging ports, a window-side table, large storage space and more will make you feel right at home. You may consider booking this room type available on our official website (all.accor.com/7606) the next time. We are sorry for your unpleasant experience regarding the sound from the elevator. Correct hotel for the price and location

Given the relative lack of reasonably-priced hotels in Hong Kong, this ibis is a solid choice for a couple nights. The hôtel is about 10mn walk from the underground metro stop. The rooms overlooking the harbour are nice and well-isolated from noise. Room was clean and beds confortable, bathroom was okay. Service from the front desk was okay, not bad, not great.
