The breakfast was good and room was very nice. The sink design is poor, the glass cup turned over and broke which cost me ¥38, that was expensive.

During the Covid-19,more procedures are required. However,there were only 3 employees at the reception and there were longer queues for both check-in and check-out during peak hours.

To your management team, This is my pleasure as Accor Platinum Member to choose Pullman South during Covid-19 period, because all the best as usual including service level, hotel facilities and food offerings! The reception team arranged my room upgrade very well, especially thanks to Serena and her team members. Also the lobby bar team provided great service to guests with lounge access, as well as the breakfast at 2F keeps its good quality. Although most of citizens still stay at home, I’d like to recommend Accor members trying to spend weekends at Pullman South, to enjoy all the best offerings from Accor group, with wonderful stay for your family activities. The security check at gateway for Heath status is really detail and processed quite well, providing enough safe environment for all the travelers. Given the coming summer holiday, just from my personal point of view, some of the hotel programs can be more focus on kids entertainment, eg. biking on the courtyard back of hotel, junior swimming training, family set of lunch or dinner, in order to acquire more visits for better profitability and keep all your staffs in ‘good busy’ ! I originally reserved a room for 8 days but due to a change in plans I needed to check out after only 6 nights. I notified the hotel on day 5 that I would like to check out after 6 nights (more than 24 hours notice). I was informed that I would be charged for the entire stay (all 8 nights).

Nice Hotel, Nice People, Good Location, Don't Fall for the Taxi Offer

This is a nice hotel with excellent service and very friendly and helpful staff, as you would expect of the Pullman brand. It is in a good location and is conveniently placed for a large local shopping centre that includes a Carrefour supermarket. My only small gripe is that prior to arrival I was sent a letter that was styled as offering useful information but was actually a sales pitch for a premium transport package from the two Shanghai airports. The email claimed that it takes a long time to get a taxi at the airport, which is total rubbish, and offers a service that costs about 9 times more than a local taxi, all be it in a nicer car. The offer from Hongqiao costs 450 RMB, whereas you would pay about 50 for a taxi. That aside I would have no hesitation if staying here again. or recommending it to others.
