Very convenient location of course, right next to the international terminal. Took a long time to get through all the bio hazard checks so we were glad we didn’t have any kind of journey afterwards. Easy check in, bedroom quiet, comfortable and modern. Enjoyed a light dinner in the restaurant. Easy to get a shuttle bus to the domestic terminal the next morning, but it is also within walking distance.

The Novotel is just 100 metres to the check-in counters of the airport. The staff were courteous, friendly and very helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The in-house restaurant was great for dinner and the buffet breakfast was like all other hotels, lukewarm food but okay. Overall a good stay.

The executive room was nice, not overly big. Breakfast was included which was nice, also complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge. What let's the place down is there is no parking, even though sites like booking.com say there is, so closest you can park undercover is the Valet parking at a further $89 per night.

Very good hotel if arriving longhaul and needing sleep. Its a big place with big rooms and even though right at the airport, its really quiet. Clean and comfy, all you'd need.

Good bed and handy location to airport, however we encountered several flaws. Hotel room was small and lacked space for multiple suitcases. Couch was stained with white patches which made us avoid using it to put anything on. There was a vomit like smell somewhere in the room - we avoided investigating too much and the bathroom floors were greasy/slippery. There is poor lighting in the room and a constant white noise. Frosted glass between bed and shower is not ideal, and would not be something I would usually select as I enjoy the peace and privacy of a shower, particularly on holiday when you are often together with a travel companion. Shower pressure was low, I avoided washing my hair as it would have taken too long. The TV was not mounted straight which I found frustrating to look at and the phone and lamp cables a mess in the corner. We arrived on a late flight with an early departure and had we been staying more than a few hours, we would have requested a refund and changed hotels.
