This hotel was truly exceptional! Staff truly went above and beyond! Extremely friendly. I especially want to thank the kitchen staff. As there was a very high volume of guests due to a large convention taking place. I highly recommend the Novatel Ellerslie

Absolutely perfect! The hotel is clean, the staff is amazing, everyone's friendly, we love the housekeeping team, the reception team, and the bartending staff. They were our favorites, but everybody was fantastic. The food at the restaurant is superb. And the drinks at the bar were excellent! If I ever get to come back to New Zealand, I will definitely stay at Novotel Ellerslie again! Highly recommend! A+++!!!

The beds were super comfortable, staff at reception were friendly and the hotel is clean. The foyer, reception and restaurant all make a good impression. The room itself was fine, clean and had mostly what we needed. The bathroom was a bit tired and the extractor fan wasn’t working, which wasn’t great when showering. However despite us booking for 2 adults and 2 children, there were only 2 coffee mugs in the room and only 1 hot chocolate sachet which made for some hot drink relays. There were also only towels for 2 people. The tiny portions of milk in the fridge were watery, a 250ml carton of full cream milk would be better. To save in single use plastics, you are provided with a glass jug and asked to go downstairs to the bar to fill it - a bit of a pain to be honest, especially when you are on the 5th floor and have kids to look after.

This feedback has been passed on to ensure room allocations better reflect the number of guests. Thank you as well for your comments about the milk portions and the water refill process. While we aim to reduce single-use plastics, we understand how inconvenient this can be for families, and your feedback has been shared with management for consideration.
