Het was niet duidelijk dat je met een auto eerst moest inchecken bij de receptie. Ook het openen van de kamer was lastig. Nummer invoeren en dan ook het slot indrukken.

In de kamer hing een geur van rook (sigaretten) ook was de rookmelder afgeplakt door plastiek (= onveilige situatie) en was er schade doordat de kapstokhanger van de muur gerukt was. Aangezien ik om 1u snachts toegekomen ben, kon ik niet reclameren. Het is zeer erg dat IBIS deze zaken niet opmerkt bij het opkuisen van de kamer voor er nieuwe gasten komen. Het is het 3de jaar op rij dat wij naar IBIS Ulm komen, 2de jaar op rij een rokerskamer en dus niet tevreden. De dag nadien hebben we dit gemeld aan de receptie en is ons een compensatie voorgesteld. Hiervan heb ik nog niets gehoord.

Prima hotel voor een goede prijs voor een nachtje als je op doorreis bent. Locatie goed, loopt zo het centrum in, bakkerij naast de deur, kleine parkeergarage onder het hotel. Helaas dat er een hele dansclub met kleine kinderen bij ons op de gang sliep die al om 6:00 op de gang herrie maakten….

Ik probeerde online 2 kamers a 81 euro te boeken voor 5 personen (1 x 2 persoons en 1 x 3 persoonskamer) maar ik kreeg een foutmelding. Ik heb het hotel gebeld en die zouden de kamers voor mij boeken. Na een uur had ik nog niets gehoord, en toen heb ik het hotel weer gebeld. Ze zei dat alles in orde zou komen. Nog een uur later heb ik weer gebeld omdat ik nog geen bevestiging had gekregen. Weer werd gezegd dat alles in orde zou komen. Nog een uur later, rond 22:00 werden we teruggebeld dat er alleen 2 persoonskamers beschikbaar waren voor 96 euro, dus 126 euro duurder dan het oorspronkelijke bedrag. Het was ondertussen zo laat en we op weg waren met 3 jonge kinderen dat we geen andere keuze hadden dan dit te accepteren. Ik voelde mij wel bedonderd. We zijn al vaker in het hotel geweest en verder was het weer een goede ervaring maar de reserveringservaring was waardeloos.

Tijdens mijn reis naar Oostenrijk moest ik overnachten. Ik heb een kamer in het Ibis Budget hotel geboekt. Deze kamer bleek echter niet schoongemaakt en het bed was ook niet verschoond. Er zaten allemaal vieze vlekken in het hoeslaken en er lagen allemaal zwarte haren in het bed. Ook stonk het bed, het leek erop alsof dit al enige tijd niet verschoond was. Ik heb geprobeerd in het bed te gaan liggen, maar het was zo vies dat ik letterlijk begon te kokhalzen. Toen heb ik mijn spullen gepakt en ben ik naar een ander hotel vertrokken. Om die reden zou ik ook graag mijn geld terug willen.
