Room for Improvement!

Paid a fair bit to stay at this hotel for two nights with a room with balcony and view of Eiffel Tower! To be fair the view is amazing! Just a shame the actual balcony looks so scruffy! The room is not worth the price without the view, and we have stayed in far nicer hotels. Check-in sounded alarm bells when I asked for an ice bucket for our room! Was told ice machines on every floor but if not working I could go the bar to get some! Tried 3 floors and every machine out of service! Ordered room service who tried to charge €5 for ice! Told it wasn’t the ice it was the staff member being called!! Unbelievable - just paid £550 a night and then they want to charge me as their ice machines broken! After talking with staff they rightly removed from the bill! This hotel needs to look closely at these small issues! Given 24 hrs free wifi then told to sign up to sign up to some deal which we didn’t! WiFi is a basic now in this day & age!. Hate where hotels try to rip you off left right and centre! The other huge gripe is the noise from the track in front of hotel! Seems constant til very late! We also had awful noise from what seemed like a protest outside! I too could see next doors guests in my glass reflection whilst they in bed! Not great! If it wasn’t for the view this hotel not outstanding! Another let down was one of the staff asking a boy to take his feet off seat! Had he just waited he would clearly have seen this boy had special needs and it was embarrassing to witness as boys father shut him down and the penny then dropped! Pullman Paris needs to tweak things to give more of a 5 star rating.

Fabulous hotel. Staff were all extremely welcoming and helpful. Room very clean with everything you need and great views from the balcony. Nice breakfast but i do think there are better local options in the area. The tablet in the room allows you to order room service or any extras needed, we did request extra toilet paper which didn't arrive so had to ask at reception which took around 30 minutes to recieve. On the day of check out at around 10.15am (check out is 11am) the housekeeping staff did walk in our room without knocking which was annoying as we were getting ready so I would advise to lock the door to prevent this from happening. Overall great stay and will definitely be back

Horrible service, food and cleanness, just great location

Other than the location, close to Eiffel Tower, everything else is way below the average, in first place service and cleanness, they just don't care about the customers. My room was full of dust, the closet was not vacuumed in ages, you could see the layers of dust, rooms definitely need some upgrade, and new carpets. I also felt that the towels were not clean enough, they had this strange smell. Also, I got some rush on my skin after first night in bad, not sure if it was from the sheets. We had a buffet type food organized, the quality was way below the average, you could see that they were recycling food from lunch to dinner, plates were dirty, some of plates not even washed and put in the pile of clean plates, the ration of clean to dirty plates was 1:10 without exaggeration. in the middle of the bite, with food in my mouth and fork and knife in hands, stuff would just come and pick the plate, not speaking English, not apologizing. I did make a complaint twice during my 3days stay but they were very rude and just ignored me. One day, there was one shoe on the hallway where my room was, standing there whole day, very bizarre, and cleaning team was just passing by and not touching it, looked like murder scene. A week before I was staying also in Pullman but Montparnasse, and that hotel is just amazing, although the location is not ideal, I liked my stay there way much better. Overall, if they renovate this hotel, I would come again; otherwise no.
