I read some reviews here. Well, I partially do agree with some of the review. I booked an executive room. I travelled with my wife and a 10 year old child for a 6-day stay. The room is small and can be quite crampy. Our first instinct upon entering the room was immediately request for a paid upgrade to a bigger room. Price was quite steep and they also didn't have any rooms for upgrade. So, we put up in the room with no choice. But we got used to it after 2 days. So, room was okie for us. Staff generally were helpful and polite. Step outside the hotel and you get an Eiffel View everyday. Breakfast became boring after 2 days as it was the same food at the same place everyday. The fish and chips and Cesar salad at the Bar Lounge was good. Hotel has a gym and heated pool. You get free sparkling water everyday at the lobby as the hotel does not provide water in plastic bottle. Overall, the hotel was okay for me and my family for our 6 day stay in Paris. Oh, and there were cherry blossom trees with flowers 🌸 just outside the hotel when in was here in mid-Dec 2025.

Although the location is good. But I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the room. Booked a room for our family of 3 the reception acknowledged but yet only given a tiny twin room where a sofa bed. The sofa bed was not set up when we enter the room and have to made a request asking room service to help opening. After it open the room have no space and impossible to walk or manage our luggage. The kettle was broken. We called 5 times in 2 days for a replacement and were lied to each time—it never arrived. The room was unacceptably cramped, and the service was negligent. Not a happy stay. Will not go back. Will avoid Novotel in the future. Rooms: not a 4 stars standard room. The room was very small. The room was not equipped as a standard 4 stars hotel: no amenities, no closet space, we were not able to open the window, carpet in the room very dirty and smelly, bathroom dirty and old. Room very dark, even after opening all the lights. In the bathroom you will find 3 big bottles, one for hand soap, one of shampoo and one of bodywash. These were not sealed, they were also used by previous guests. This is absolutely unacceptable. This is a poor 3 stars hotel. The only strong points of the hotel are location and buffet breakfast (if you wake up early and get there before the other guests). Staff: the staff at the welcome desk was overall nice. The morning of December 9th, 2025 when I asked an info about local transport the lady with the blonde ponytail at the desk was very rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. I was shocked. This is not how to treat a client. Will not be back. Do not recommend it. Will avoid Novotels in the future.

Novotel: Policies Over People

This hotel’s management is greedy and completely insensitive. My husband had an emergency surgery a few days ago, we can’t travel anymore, and despite providing official medical documents they refused to cancel my booking. I fully understand that my booking is non‑refundable, but this isn’t just a simple cancellation — it’s a serious health issue. Beware: all they care about is money, not people!
