I think the hotel location is great, very well situated for easy travel around Berlin - the underground stop is right outside the door. The hotel is pretty informal, the rooms were clean and the staff friendly and relaxed. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. I stayed with my partner and two children in two rooms with a connecting door, and because we were at the back of the hotel, it was super quiet.

Ok. First the good. Location is great. Next to the U bahn, trams and buses. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Nice cafe to get breakfast very close by. Easy walk to Alexanderplatz and the Museum Island. Staff pleasant. Bed very comfortable. The double (triple??) glazed windows are very efficient at keeping the inevitable noise out. It's on a main street and there's traffic noise, emergency service sirens etc (but we're from London so used to all that). We were there in winter so we didn't need the windows open at night. No tea or coffee kettle in the room but you can help yourself in the reception area, same with cold water for your drinking bottle. No safe in the room but apparently you can store valuables in the hotel safe at reception. There's a fridge in reception selling cold drinks and snacks. Everything looked clean and well maintained. The not so good. No safe in the room. No kettle. No fridge. We've stayed in other hotels in Berlin where the rooms have these facilities. It's an appreciated add-on but not essential and didn't ruin our stay. Just saying. The room was small, clothing storage is severely limited, with some hanging space for coats and a couple of shelves. We basically lived out of our suitcases (and nowhere to put those either). A few hooks on the walls would have helped. And a light above the full length in the bedroom. Towels were laughably small, though clean and soft. Nowhere to sit in the bedroom apart from the bed (did I say it was a small room?). My partner had a couple of work video calls but he did manage perching on the side of the bed (wifi was good apparently). The completely 'what were you thinking when designing the bedrooms?' It's style over and above everything else! It looks great, all gleaming red panels and dark red tiles and pebble design flooring in the bathroom and loo. But who on earth thought it would be a great idea to have the bathroom open plan?? Just put a panel on the back of the mirror over the sink and put a door on the bathroom! I do not want to be lying on the bed and see my partner, lovely as he is, coming out of the shower cubicle to grab a towel, or cleaning his teeth. It might be ok-ish for a couple like us but what if you're a couple of friends? Please, a bit of privacy is normal in bathrooms, isn't it? I suppose we were grateful the loo was totally separate. As for the shower cubicle (no shelf to store your toiletries, of course not), did the designer not realise how impossible it is to put the bathmat outside the cubicle to step out onto it because the shower door is flush to the floor? We were there for four nights. The comments above concerning the lack of privacy in the bathroom didn't spoil our visit but it certainly gave us something to talk about. Recommended for intimate couples for a night or two at most. Sorry, but we won't be back to this hotel. Wasn't even that cheap

My third visit to this hotel says it all!! Great location next to the U bahn, trams and buses. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Room comfortable and reasonable breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Only minor point is the street noise especially police sirens but if you keep the windows closed it’s not a problem. I’ve booked another stay already!

Stayed as a single occupant here at the Styles, easy accses for the underground and therefore the city. the rooms are ok if not lacking in reclining space eg. easy chair rather than laying on the bed. The step into the wash area is a little high and could be very slippy when wet, all a bit strange being elevated probably to cover pipes etc. However it was warm and what i did like was you could open the window. The downside is in the evening it is a noisy and busy multi-crossroaded place, so be aware crossing the road. For me it was a greatly placed hotel the underground was on my doorstep as were the trolley/tramways outside the door. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. I would gladly stay there again. Często korzystam z sieci Ibis k z hoteli kategorii Styles. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja,miły, profesjonalny i kompetentny personel, dobre jedzenie. W dwójce łazienka otwarta na pokój co utrudnia funkcjonowanie dwóch osób. Kiedy jedna wcześniej wstaję i się myje fuga się budzi. Zapychające się prysznic, brak ciepłej wody w kranie w umywalce brak dobrego oświetlenia całego pokoju, niedziałający kontakt. W odrózznieniu od innych Ibisów Styles 0 22.O0 wynoszony ekspres do kawy,brak śmietnika w jadalni. Generalnie sprzęt w hotelu leciwy. Przydałoby się odświeżenie a najlepiej remont Fajny hotel, z potencjałem tylko trzeba zadbać o niego
