Excellent Mid Range Hotel

Excellent mid range hotel in the city. The staff are well-trained - everything went smoothly from the phone in reservation to check in and bell service upon check out. The rooms are average sized; can’t say they’re any smaller than the standard rooms at hotels in Manila casino complexes. The bed were comfortable and an extra pillow was provided in the closer. Water pressure was strong in the bathroom, and the hot water worked well. The only drawback is that there is no shower door so the water from the shower head kept spelling out into the sink area. It made it dangerous for guests who could’ve slipped in the floor. Basic amenities were provided but the toothpaste sachet was tiny and barely for single use. They left a morning paper at the door - something I haven’t seen in a really long time across other hotels in Metro Manila. Despite the hotel being fully booked for a 2-day holiday, there was ample seating at the breakfast buffet, and the food was quickly replenished with many options that catered to guests with various dietary preferences or restrictions. The breakfast menu had Asian and Continental choices, including ice cream and frozen yogurt in the morning! The lobby restrooms are always clean as well. The gym has some basic equipment and weights, and is open for 24 hours. There is a steam room but the temperature barely rose inside. The pool and poolside bar is one of the best I’ve seen in the Quezon City area. A few steps away and up is a nice garden where I saw guests walking their dogs early in the morning. They had a spa but the services seemed overpriced. Gateway mall is literally next door which gave us other dining options. Would highly recommend this hotel for those who expect good accommodations with some touches of luxury at a decent rate.

The hotel staff are exceptional! The rooms are clean. The location pertaining to my needs were excellent. The in room dining is where there is a problem. I have been staying at this hotel off and on for 8 years. The food for in room dining was a disaster! The food was over cooked and sometimes cold, pieces of burned meat in my Reuben sandwich, dried out bread, some the outstanding choices from the past replaced with less than desirable choices. If I were to rate the hotel simply on the in room dining food alone, I would rate this hotel a one! Urgent change with the food is needed immediately!

Rude, poorly trained staff, should not be working in hospitality industry.

Terrible and poor customer service. Rude, ill-mannered and inflexible staff. Defective motorized shower curtain, TV remote not working, kettle pot not also working. House keeping took time to repair it. The defective motorized shower curtain also took time to be repaired. It does not qualify as 4-stars standard hotel. 👎👎👎The rude and ill-mannered staff made our hotel experience very traumatic!

The location is superb as it is near many malls and shops. Transportation is alright as well, can get Grab or taxis. The main visit was to visit my grand aunty who had a fall, the hospital was not too far, just traffic is a little crazy during peak hours. The Araneta Coliseum is next door and the service there is good if not too busy. My only disappointment was the shower head of the bathroom, it kept falling down. Needs to be looked into.

This hotel boldly labels itself as a 4-star establishment, but in reality, it operates more like a 3-star venue in terms of service and amenities. The property appears worn-out, unclean, and neglected. The front desk, guest services, and concierge staff appear inexperienced and require additional training. Despite my single request to monitor a package, which I explicitly asked to be noted in their system, guest services repeatedly requested details about the parcel and failed to record my initial instructions. Gelai from guest services placed me on hold, and after waiting for 10 minutes, I decided to disconnect the call. To enhance transparency, it would be advisable for the hotel to accurately classify itself as a 3-star rather than a 4-star establishment.
