A few pluses and a few minuses. Plus-staff, unique building, location, breakfast buffet all great. Minus-we hated the beds. A very thin, very light “mattress” on top of the frame. It kept sliding off. We thought we would fall off the bed several times when we would go sit on it as it had slid off the bottom. Or in the night if you moved it moved with you..also feeling you’d fall off. Bathroom light switch is outside the bathroom. On the opposite side of the door. So if you got up at night you had to take your phone/flashlight with you or risk turning the light on and waking the other person as it flooded the room with light. Some rooms don’t have elevator access. That quickly became a pain with a spiral staircase. Lack of storage space for 2 people. I likely chose a smaller room economically than other choices so be aware. Pluses- very nice buffet, not “American” but definitely more choice than some European buffets. Great breads. Clean and always bringing out food. Very nice and friendly staff. Location is maybe a 10 or 15 minute walk from the train station. Nice buildings, clean rooms. Good lighting and water temp. The bed issue just was too negative for me.

I use Ibis Styles hotels many times a year as they offer comfort and cleanliness. This one is not up to the standard of others however. There is parking for about three cars on sit at 20 Euros a night. We were lucky that we got one. It was early September and was warm and sticky, the air-conditioning in our room was not working. When reported, it was mentioned that there was a fan in the room. A fan does not supply air conditioned air. As there were no other rooms available we were offered the car parking for free and refunded 20 Euros. Had there been another hotel available I would have moved there, but there wasn't. My use of Ibis Styles hotels will reduce as a result of this experience. They must have known that the air-conditioning was not working and that is why they placed a fan in the room. Never again.

We spent three nights in this hotel, staying in a ground floor room. The room was comfortable and very well presented and the bathroom was a good size and well appointed. There are a limited number of on-site parking spaces - most of the parking is in an underground carpark just across the street. It's a bit more expensive to park on site but we went for that option and we thought it was well worth it. The breakfasts are good with a nice range of choices. The only snag is that the area where breakfast is served is quite small, certainly in relation to the number of rooms, and we found it was very crowded at busy times. The staff are helpful and the hotel is very conveniently situated for the centre of Colmar. We'd stay there again.

This is a business hotel so it has all the amenities you can expect. Nice people working there, and the breakfast was ok. Free wifi but no freezer in the room. The room was clean, but the design was colorful. Parking is some 50 meters away in a public parking garage. Very close to the old parts of Colmar, which we found in 5 minutes. A good hotel for the price in Colmar.

good middle class hotel in the very centre of colmar only a few footsteps away from the cathedral. rooms are quite spacy and got soundproof windows, even if the street in front of the hotel is not very buisy. staff at reception is very helpful and efficient. the breakfast buffett nice and really more than ok. - we already have stayed once in this hotel and we will come back for sure.
