We spent four nights at this hotel. All hotels in Lucerne are very expensive, so I felt that this Ibis was very overpriced for what it is, compared to Ibis hotels in other cities. However, for Lucerne, it was at the cheaper end. The location is good - only about 15 minutes' walk from the main station. The parking situation is challenging - the on-site parking is very limited. We couldn't get a space on the day we arrived, and had to park on the street and get up early to move the car before parking restrictions started for the day. Room was standard for this type of hotel - a double bed with a bunk bed over the top. There was a curtain to divide the main part of the room from the sink and shower. As a couple, we felt the room was big enough but if you had children as well it might feel a bit cramped. We at breakfast at the hotel for a couple of the days. There weren't many other options for breakfast in the vicinity, and due to the expensive nature of Lucerne, the breakfast offered value for money. It was kept well stoked up for the most par, although we did have to wait quite a long time for eggs one morning. I would consider staying here again if I ever go back to Lucerne.

For the price point, this place is awesome. We had a triple room for 3 people, it WAS tiny but clean and cozy and great hot shower. The breakfast was great too with bread, croissants, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cheese, deli cuts and cappuccinos. It’s about a 10-15 walk to Main Street and main train station. We parked 1 night outside and 1 night inside the garage.

Overall it was good.

The room was nice and bed was cozy and we had fluffy pillows. The only thing was the ventilation did not work properly for us. The staff especially Joyce was attentive, helpful and friendly. The reception was twenty four hours open and also has food and drinks.

There’s a bakery next door. Leave the window cracked and smell fresh bread all night long. Incredible. But seriously, great stop for a quick stay! Close to bus stop, train station, and other activities. No fridge in room, but, there is a microwave downstairs.

Need to take a bus from Lucerne Station to get to the hotel. There are various dark spots in the room where the lights do not reach. The toilet ventilation is terrible and the puddles of water in the bathroom does not dry even throughout the night. Water temperature of the shower is not consistent. While we do not use, seems like there are various amenities at the lobby like microwave and mini mart.
