Great guys at the hotel. Hotel is clean, all amenities are working. Only area that needs improvement is increasing their menu for breakfast.

Room is small but clean. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast buffet offers rather good value for money. Frontline staff is overall caring and attentive.

The stay was Ok but the customer service was very bad, to be honest. They never pick up the phone if they do it is a miracle. Second, the Breakfast buffet was not to a standard no variety, to be honest especially for people that are vegetarian or pescatarian.

I had issue with one of the female receptionist, who accused me that I didn’t pay for my stay.... which was proven wrong at the end of the day... I had to miss my flight and got another place to spend the night.... I can’t remember her name but she’s the most senior in age among them..

I honestly think that there is improvement need in the rooms at Ibis Cotonou. After washing hands, I could still water stagnant for hours. The size of the room perhaps depended on my choice. I was in a room with obstructed water pipe. The TV was small and outdated in my opinion. No cup or bowl to drink even water. There was a broken small plastic bowl which was not usable. I thought it was going to be replaced but it was not until I left. In a nutshell, it is not the ibis hotels in which I used to stay in Abidjan or Accra or US.

The room and food were excellent and the staff, some, though not all of whom speak English, were especially helpful. For example, when I had to fly from Cotonou early in the morning, the desk clerk found someone to drive me to the airport in the shuttle. They might have said, too early, we will call a cab. But they went out of their way to accommodate their needs. I strongly recommend the Ibis Cotonou.

nice hotel, away from the madness of the city centre. u can get a taxi moto for CFA300 to get to the centre. Nice room, clean, good breakfast and buffet dinner. The male reception staff are better than the female staff.

One of the best hotels in the Ibis chain

I was disappointed that the Novotel is still under refurbishment, however, the Ibis proved very satisfactory for our business trip. The rooms are quite large by Ibis standards, and were extremely well appointed and kept maintained. The dining lobby area is spacious and airy, with an area of outside seating in the garden. All the staff were always extremely helpful and friendly, despite the hotel being full and very busy. The breakfast buffet included, was acceptable .. perhaps one of the weaker points. I missed having a gym (and others probably the lack of a pool), but it is an Ibis after all. Finally, closeness to the airport (and their handy free shuttle) and the embassy area is a big plus.
