While the staff, Rhianon and Tom were amazing, very professional and friendly, the rest of the hotel needs some work. The room was spacious and clean-ish, although I did find someone else’s Solpadeine under the desk! There was a double divan with the thinnest mattress on, which was extremely uncomfortable, so much so I hardly slept. There is a desk and wardrobe both of which are a good size and functional. There aren’t however, many plug sockets, although I did find an extension cable plugged in. The bathroom had a good sized wet room with shower which was ok and had good water pressure. The bathroom was clean. We decided not to eat in that evening as the menu was generally reheated stuff, not all of which is freshly cooked on the premises, and a very high carbohydrate choice, not great. Eating out at the Tappi Pavilion Indian was a good choice. Breakfast was not great, the cheese had been ‘cut’ into portion slices for some time as they had not only dried out, but had hardened and was inedible. The ham was ok and of a decent quality, however the yogurts were decanted, probably from a catering pack, into little jars, I would not eat those as there was no labelling for expiry dates! The sausage was awful which led me to have the ham and cheese which was equally not great! The French baton bread was stale. Not good overall, and I would not return but the staff try hard to make guests welcome.

Great budget hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was piping hot. Relaxed and able to take drinks back to the room. Hotel room was spotlessly clean and beds were nearly made. Extra pillows if required. Stayed here a few times and would recommend as close to all amenities.

Stayed here for one night to attend a party in a nearby hotel. Wasn't the best but the staff were friendly. There were a lot of people staying as emergency housing and the room smelt of wet dog. The bed was a timber creaky structure. The room was clean although carpet was filthy with stains. The towels looked used in the bathroom and looked like they hadn't been replaced from the previous guests. The people staying whilst waiting for housing were in the bar area in their pyjamas and it felt like we were staying at a hostel more than a hotel. Wasn't worth the money paid and would not consider this hotel in the future. Quite disappointed really as stayed at many ibis hotels without fault previously.

Oh dear, the staff are still friendly and helpful. The room we had was grubby, one of the sockets would not work, the toilet had not been cleaned and there was a horrid smell in the bath room. It is a shame this has always been our preferred choice when visiting Swansea, I feel we may well not return to this hotel.

Goed. Ik heb een keer "s avonds gegeten om dat ik laat was aangekomen, maar het eten was matig en zou ik afraden. Heel leuk en vriendelijk personeel vooral Becky aan het ontbijt.

Ook zijn we ontzettend trots op ons personeel, dus het is fantastisch om te horen dat Becky met haar energie en vriendelijkheid een positieve indruk heeft achtergelaten - zelfs in de vroege uurtjes! 😊 We vinden het jammer dat het diner niet aan je verwachtingen voldeed en hopen dat je bij een volgend bezoek een betere ervaring zult hebben met ons vernieuwde menu. De onduidelijkheid rondom de factuur is iets wat we zeker serieus nemen, en we doen ons best om dit proces te vereenvoudigen, vooral wanneer meerdere boekingen zijn gemaakt. Wat betreft de Wi-Fi, we zijn continu bezig met het verbeteren van onze diensten en zullen het signaal in de kamers aan het einde van de gang nog eens extra onder de loep nemen.
