We stayed here for a few days to use as a base with which to explore Cairo. We arrived late morning, way too early to check in but the receptionist couldn't be helpful enough and endeavoured to find us a room to settle in, which he did. Way above our expectations, as was the room itself with stunning views of Zamalek and Cairo Tower. The hotel is perfectly located for tourists, not far from the museum and other sites and within walking distance of some nice restaurants too, altho the hotel has a lovely restaurant of its own, again with stunning views and nice food. Breakfast is included too which was also delicious and plentiful. The pool is a nice touch too, altho it's small, it was never busy and towels are provided. We had a great stay and would absolutely recommend.

This hotel is a good value. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It also had a great view of the Nile. Some other reviews mention street noise, but we didn't hear anything really. It was very quiet in our room. The one drawback to our room was the bed. It wasn't very comfortable. My wife and I both felt it was the worst one on our week long stay in Cairo (we stayed in 5 places). Otherwise the room was great. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, no issues at all. Service in general was pretty good. Our room came with a free breakfast, which was pretty good. The only issue was it was difficult getting coffee our first morning. The employee handling the coffee seemed more interested in chatting with coworkers than paying attention to customers. Thankfully he was an anomaly and I didn't see him the next morning; coffee service was fine that day. I also have to say the coffee itself was excellent. The last thing I will mention is the location.i thought it was pretty ideal. It is pretty close to the Cairo Metro. It also is very easy to get an Uber here (which I can't say about everywhere in Cairo). In addition, if you walk about a mile (20 minutes) towards Giza, you'll have some great eating options. I wouldn't be surprised if the same could be said about heading towards Tahrir Square (10-15 minute walk).

Novotel Cairo El Borg 4-9 May 2025, room 3003 Perfect hotel location,It is in El Gezira, Zamalek, close to Nile revier. My stay was perfect from check-in till check out, my room was upgraded, with a very nice view of Nile revier, and it was very clean & hygienic. Special thanks to Ms Nada Khalid, guest relations supervisor who contacted me before arrival and her follow-up after that, and thanks to Ms Nada Vereena, the front desk receptionist during my check-in. thanks to the housekeeper, Mr Omar ; always on time, and the room is very clean with full amenities. Breakfast buffet restaurant was very good with nice varieties; special thanks to Ms Aya and to all team there. My thanks to all in the hotel for their attention, follow-up, and polite attitudes.

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights in April 2025. Check in was very efficient and the staff all friendly and approachable. We requested rooms next to each other, which was accommodated. The rooms were modern and clean, as was the bathroom. The rooms also had a stunning river view. A special mention must be made of the location of the hotel, situated within meters of the Cairo tower and a short walk to Qasr El Nil bridge which leads to downtown Cairo. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety to suit all tastes. My only complaint is that shower caps were not provided (which is usually standard), and that our room service order took almost 45 minutes to arrive. All in all, we had a great stay and I would highly recommend this hotel.
