A lovely welcome Rooms was amazing .breakfast good choice Staff lovely and very pleasant Nothing was a problem Close to heroes park A zoo which cost 10 pound we was there 4 hours Also a circus loads of cafe .food is good you can use underground to get round 24hr tickets The place is so clean Bars excellent and no trouble

We booked into the ibis hotel heroes square from 30th Dec till 2nd Jan 2025 as a group of 7 to celebrate new year. Location: approximately a 3 minute walk to heroes square metro which was ideal for travelling around the city as this allowed you to access other lines to go further afield. Rooms: Rooms were basic and minimalistic but ideal for the purpose. Bedding and towels were clean and changed daily. Bathroom was functional and had shower/hair/ handwash available. There was also a hairdryer which was not very powerful so you may consider to bring your own. Breakfast: We were expecting a " continental breakfast " but were pleasantly surprised with what was actually on offer: cold meats cheese tomato fruit cereal pastry various breads scrambled egg as well as sausage. Juice and various hot drinks from the machine. Staff :We had no issues with staff always available pleasant and helpful. Facilities: The only negative we found was that the bar closed at 10pm .Now at this time of year when it is busy and there are a lot of celebrations we felt this was far too early. There are no small bars around the hotel which we found that we could have went to. All in all a good stay in a functional hotel.

the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. let's start with the fact that the arrival was late at 01:00 am. I warned about the check-in time on booking. when tired and hungry we arrived at the hotel, we were met by an girl employee at the reception. well, how did she meet us. she was talking to someone on the phone, laughing periodically and it didn't look like a work conversation - let me remind you, it was Saturday night at 02:00. when, a few minutes later, our arrival was still ignored, I said that we needed to check in. to which the girl stared at me as if I owed her money. in general, by the way, we weren't even told a simple good night or sorry for the delay. the receptionist said that she was solving the guest's problem over the phone. the funniest thing is that in the conversation a Polish swear word with the letter K…. was heard several times. I honestly assume that she saw Russian passports and decided to just torment us with a long check-in. Also, the problems did not end when the phone conversation was finally finished (somewhere around 20-25 minutes after our arrival, we finally checked in) Our check in also was a problem they didn’t have a rooms with a double bed as it was in booking reservation. There is no water or refrigerator in the room. You can’t buy anything at night, the bar is closed. The sockets are falling off. The bed is poorly made. Also, we had a room with one large bed, but they gave us three separate ones. I didn’t have the strength to swear at night. Another thing that was simply disgusting was that the cleaning lady broke into the room at 9 am, although I had locked the door. Why does your staff dare to break into guests’ rooms? Do you even know how hotels work? Don’t look, this is a hotel chain, only the name remains of Ibis. And even three stars in India will give this “hotel” a run for its money

Po 20 latach znowu w tym samym miejscu z uwagi na lokalizacje, linie metra oraz restauracje Gundel. Nic nas nie zaskoczylo bardzo sympatyczne przyjecie przez mlodego czlowieka na recepcji.

A lovely 4 night city-break. Hotel is a fab base for sightseeing , it's also right on the doorstep of the hugely popular Heroes Square monument. Hotel is very clean and staff very helpful and friendly, especially the lovely barman who looked after us most evenings. We didn't book breakfast, but it looked like a great selection, and you are able to buy separately if you wish. Would book again if going back to Budapest. Well done Ibis!
