always love coming back to this excellent little hotel. To the same room that is always quiet and very clean with the comfortable bed, and excellent heating even when it is very cold outside. The breakfast is always great (I am the one who always sits there until they close the dining room at 10.00). The staff at the hotel is very professional and always helps with anything you need, even more than you thought you needed. . I can't even think about going to Budapest if I'm not sure I have a room available at your hotel. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality - as always.

Poor Stay

I did not have a pleasant stay here. When I checked in at around 130pm, I was given a room on the a low floor facing the street by Zoltan and his colleague. I asked for something in the back and was told nothing was available - the hotel apparently was fully booked. I later checked the Ibis website and there was plenty of availability in my room category and others-so their statement was simply not true. No reason why they couldn't have given me a different room and I was willing to wait or even pay more if asked. Zoltan and his colleague (perhaps his trainer or mentor?) need to do better. It seems to be a training issue. I had a very early flight and needed to leave the hotel by 4am, which I explained to them. They refused to give me another room. The street noise was really bad and did not quiet down until almost midnight, leaving me not much rest. So thanks a lot for the miserable stay. I will not return or ever recommend this property. In other places staff are always happy to accommodate. Not here. I'd leave zero stars on the service. Other than the poor service, the room was fine and clean. I can't comment on the breakfast because I left way before it was served. The hotel doesn't seem to have very much in the way facilities, just very basic.

I was here with a group a couple of days ago ....and we had a very lovely stay...rooms are clean and confortable, the hotel Is located near the metro, cafés and so on, but the best Is the staff ....very kind and helpful ...the new young receptionist (Sorry I don't Remember his name) helped us in everything we needed. Surely I will come back with other groups and I suggest everyone to go and stay in your hotel. Many hearthly thanks ... Laura

Good location - near ruins and public transport options just across the road.

Well-located with short walk to tram, bus, supermarket (for bottled water), near "ruins" with many cafes and restaurants. Easy to reach hotel with public transport (airport shuttle). Very helpful front desk (Marcell) who attended to my queries very promptly and with great detail during the booking process, regarding transportation options. The room is functional albeit a little old, and there was no kettle or coffee-making facilities in the room.
