Novotel Suites Perpignan Centre bintang 4

Location is good but has no parking, the promoted parking next door is expensive especially at a weekend when most street parking is free and this isn’t mentioned. I asked about early check in and was told it would cost which is rather cheeky if the room is ready. The room is a decent size but the additional bed is really a sofa, couldn’t get the air con to work but managed without, the works going on meant a strange smell in the corridor. Staff were very helpful and there was a great breakfast spread.

Location is correct - just 5-min walk from the city center... which you cannot reach by car - and rooms are spacious, silent and well isolated. Staff is helpful, active and cooperative. The place has two bad points though... 1. breakfast is next to the counter at the entrance and with not enough spots to sit in 'rush hour'; 2. one cannot download suitcases at front door 'cause entrance is in a walking part... the park place - public garage - is just 20mts away, but when it rains! it is a nuisance!! Anyway, the whole experience was positive and I would overnight there again if back to Perpignan :)

Friendly and efficent Check-in. We asked for two keycards per room. The rooms are modern, held in White colours and we're very clean. Parking is provided in a public garage/parking with Hotel Discount. In Walking distance to a Lot of Restaurants, Bars etc. Breakfast Buffet was fine. Easy Check-out.

I used to arrive at this hotel and if a room is ready I would immediately get it, now I am told at 9.00 a.m. that I can check in at 4.00 p.m if I want to check in earlier I must pay, that is so ridiculous I have paid for a room and what I get 4pm to 10. a.m. stay how is this fair, I am fuming I will be taking this to the trading ombudsman as well as Acorr itself,

We stayed for 2 nights over the holidays. Wifi did not work on the first day at all, then it was constantly disconnecting so not good if you need to work. We got free breakfast as a compensation. We had other issues in the room like locked safe and no soap but that was corrected very promptly. Room on 4th floor overlooked road traffic and the mountain range. The suite itself was probably the smallest we have been to at Novotel Suites and it did not have a usual dividing courtain. It was actually just modular room. The bathroom was modern with walking shower and separate bathtub. Toilet is away from the bathroom - by the room entrance door. It has very sterile look, some pictures or splash of color would help! It is 15 walk to the train station or you can take bus 3. Town centre is less than 10 min walk. Overall it is acceptable and clean hotel for family stopover. Staff at the reception is lovely. For the quality price of 200 Euros per night was quite high. I would not say it was good value.
