Rooms somewhat basic but reasonably priced for Switzerland. Very convenient location around the corner from the train station. Getting to the airport is also extremely easy, especially with the included public transit pass. Breakfast was quite good.

I stayed here for a night. The location is convenient about a 5 min walk from the basel main train station. Room is modest and I had to ask for a kettle from the reception. Bathroom is small with a walk in shower. The pillows are very flat and do not provide any support. Room was quite hot even on a cold night and with the air con switched on. I left the window open but the traffic noise was loud.

Booked the hotel a while ago, unfortunately our flights were changed by the airline which left us unable to use the booking. Contacted the hotel and was met with no response at all. I understand rates are non refundable but the to be completely ignored is very disappointing and has put me off using the Accor brand in the future.

清潔な部屋で、朝食も美味しく、快適な滞在でした。 バスタブはなく、シャワーのみでしたが、水圧も温度も問題ありませんでした。 ただ、部屋に冷蔵庫がなかったことと、エアコンの効きが不十分なことは残念な点です。 立地は最高に便利で、ホテルのすぐ横からトラムに乗ることができます。 夏の割引セールで予約しましたが、価格以上の価値がある滞在となりました。

Clean and quiet close to Basel SBB with free public transport tickets provided

Stayed here for a night in June as a connection stopover before getting the ICE train to Germany.  The hotel is in a fantastic location for Basel SBB central station, being a five minute walk to and from there.  The hotel additionally provides an unlimited public transport ticket to get you around the city for free for the duration of your stay (as a one night stay we had a 48 hour ticket for each of us), which was absolutely fantastic and enabled us to see a lot more of the city than we probably would have as public transportation can be very pricey in Basel.  Whilst the room was slightly dated (this is a budget hotel after all!), it was meticulously clean and quiet which as a connection hotel for us was very important to get a good nights rest in after a long day travelling, and another ahead of us.  The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and spoke several languages to help guests with their queries seamlessly.  We opted into the breakfast as we had an early connection to make and this was plentiful, fresh and of good quality.  There was a staff member constantly checking food to ensure it was replenished. There are additionally many cafes in the close vicinity and at the station if you have more time however.  Would absolutely recommend for a quick, clean and quiet stopover.
