I flew from California US to Bengaluru India during the COVID pandemic, and I self-quarantined here for 14 days as per international best practice to stop any possible spread and keep the elders in my family safe. Novotel took great care of me! There were initial hiccups but once they realised it, they resolved it and made sure the experience was truly smooth. I was in my hotel room but had everything I needed a phone call away. Check in was at an awkward time - 3am but they where ready, expecting me with sanitiser/face shield/etc. The room was good, bed was great! I did not have a balcony however, the room did not feel stuffy thanks to good air conditioning. The food was amazing, for both International and Indian cruise! I was also nostalgic for dishes off menu like Bindi masala fry, Hara-bara kebab, strawberry yogurt, etc they were very courteous and enabled my requests, certainly felt at home! Must try - The egg white masala omelette. The room service was very professional with best health care practice, my meals were served in take-out packaging with contactless delivery. The room was very comfortable, even without room service, they made sure I got all my daily requirements delivered contactless (aka earl grey tea,water,towels, etc). I had some out of the box requests as I forgot some necessities, but they were great to take care of them promptly as well. Post quarantine, I noticed other guests were not maintaining social distance/proper face masks near the lifts which really bothered me. I would just wait for them to go and wait for the next one. Also I would ask them to use face masks properly, please do the same if you observe bad practices. If the staff could request customers to practice face covering(for nose and mouth) at all times, like the staff that would be great. The staff overall were very lovely! Everyone from the restaurant( KP, Moomy, Durgha), Bar (Pappu, Ankan), Frontdesk ( Shermini) Overall customer care (Roopa, Sughand) were very caring and mindful of my circumstance and really went the extra mile to make me feel at home which is greatly appreciated! Definitely one to return to again, their hotel property is also quite good, well located. Oh! The staff also made me a little cake, as it was close to my birthday towards the end of my visit, it was amazing! Chocolate cake with almonds - again a must try if they have it on their regular menu, I'll definitely get it again!
Excellent but still have margin of improvement for growth as nothing is perfect

I first stayed in Novotel in Sweden and then my journey with Novotel started . Very Nice ambience ,Neat and Clean ,Very Nice and polite staff .They care about your safety and privacy both. They have good and polite staff and food is also very good. Hope I will visit them again

Very bad service and no one cares about the guest. I have a membership and I see no point in having it. Staff don’t know the minimum etiquette. Breakfast is below average. Overall a bad stay. Thank you

Pillows were not at all comfortable. Set top box was not connecting well with TV remote and the AC was very noisy! The Steam iron in the Room had a naked wire which was very dangerous. Overall, it was a bad stay
