Good stay, but check-in issues took away from the experience

Stayed at the Sofitel BKC Mumbai for a night and had a good time apart from a few things. Rooms are great and big, staff at both Pondicherry Cafe and Club Millesime deserve a shoutout. The concierge was great and helped us with each query we had. I was given certain information over the phone by the front office prior to arrival, which was not fully honored at check-in. Make sure to have such communication confirmed over email or remember the staff member’s name you spoke to, as they tend to ask for proof of conversation. Unfortunately, this experience at check-in affected our mood for the rest of the day. I would say their ALL Accor status recognition is average, at best.

Luxury Hotel stay in Mumbai

Booked Sofitel as a result of a stay at another Sofitel. Was not disappointed. Hotel has a great staff, friendly and helpful. The hotel is some distance from Central Mumbai but relatively close to the airport. Traffic in and around the area is the typical chaos found in India. No trouble to get Uber's and taxi's. Room was a reasonable size with a comfortable bed. We had our adult daughter with us and needed a rollaway which was not at all comfortable (too hard) and cme without enough pillows. Small pool area on 3rd floor was neat and tidy although water seemed a bit chilly. Good poolside service. Cafe and breakfast buffet were very good. Lots of chocies at reasonable prices and staff were helpful and friendly. Concierge and front of hotel deserve special mention for their helpfulness. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in Mumbai.

Perfect Stay

Amazing Stay for Staycation in Mumbai, it was our layover Stay but enjoyed like Staycation. We have reached early but as an Accor Gold Member they have allowed early check in and the breakfast as well which we couldn't avail as Stay was just till the night... Restaurant ambience, the live music & the food is awesome even they have different restaurants in this property. Room was very beautiful with all the amenities which required, all staff are very sweet & professional. Thanks definitely we will visit again whenever we will be in Mumbai.
