Staying in the hotel overnight before a flight. Swift check-in; the room is very pleasant, clean and tidy. We liked the bathroom, which was well designed. Decided to have a meal in the hotel's restaurant, which was surprisingly good (we had the ribs). We were served by Harman, who was polite and friendly; he also cracked a couple of jokes.

After a very, very long day watching my flight get delayed again and again in the airport the flight was cancelled. It was after midnight when I checked in and the staff could not have been more helpful. This continued the following day with breakfast then while I was waiting for hours after check out until I could check in my bags for my new flight. The staff bent over backwards to make my stay as comfortable as possible and their attitude and the atmosphere they create are second to none. This was my first Ibis stay but will not be my last. Very happy. Here’s hoping I get home tonight though 😄 keep your fingers crossed.

:) - Quick check-in - *Very* clean and modern facilities in the room and bathroom - Comfortable bed! - Tea and coffee station on 1st floor (turn left after lifts) - Good choice for food options - Good heating; thermostat was confusing but worked in the end :( - Could have done with an extra bin in the room (there was one in the bathroom, but none in the main room) - No instructions left for wi-fi

Booked here for our arrival from Tenerife, then had to book another night before our flight home to Tenerife as Ryanair cancelled our flight & rearrange it for the following day.(At our cost, Thank You Ryanair) Both stays were very good, we had a meal in their restaurant on our 2nd stay which was very nice with good service. 2 issues we had, on our 1st visit we were told there were no double rooms left, we objected & were given a double suite, which was extra roomy, on our 2nd visit we turned up early & were told the rooms weren't ready, but if we paid £20 we could check in early, how??? when the rooms weren't ready. Both issues niggled a bit, why do they tell lies? It cost them a 5 star review.

Clean, functional and comfortable hotel boosted by a great location and excellent staff. The room was compact and fairly straightforward but it was clean, everything worked and the bed was comfy. The main plus points of this hotel are: - The location close to the airport (I was attending an event at the NEC, so the aiport - NEC/Station link was incredibly useful) - The staff were friendly, genuinely helpful, and efficient. Special mention to Vishnu for his attitude and attention to detail but all the staff were top notch.
