Just checked out from room 2107, the gentleman who checked me in was insisting on deposit in Malaysian Rinngit, however the DM Shahida was there, she kindly accepted deposit in USD which was highly appreciated . The room and corridors are very very outdated and tired, the bathroom was so tiny with no bath tub. In fairness the bed was comfortable but as the windows are not double glazed you could easily get disturbed by the revving motorbike during the night. No water bottles in the room, but there is a filtered water tab that you can use instead. The AC was so so noisy but working. I was told the hotel was renovated after Covid but the stained carpets and squeaky wardrobe doors indicate otherwise. The concierge desk is useless, I asked him something and he said sorry I’m not local , passed me to the reception to ask but with long queues, no thanks.I used Google map mostly and was not disappointed. Breakfast was adequate but nothing to rave about. My stay was far from convenient or smooth, mostly due to basic housekeeping issues. I should mention though that Mr. Adib the DM was very apologetic, sincere and keen to assist . Unfortunately the Novotel in KL is a poor representation of the Novotel brand in Asia, I stayed in Novotel recently in Thailand and it was on a different level. I kind of regret booking the Novotel ,next time will pay a little bit extra and go to a five star hotel. I feel the selling point for this hotel is only the location . FOM Mr.Nemeno apologised and offered access to the lounge as a compensation and I accepted it. I can only question the GM who was super proud standing on the steps launching the Christmas tree.

Hotel has one of the best locations for kuala lumpur city centre, direct pathway access to Pavilion mall, suria KLCC and expected facilities. However the property is a little tired and kind of does the minimum. It's not bad it's just not excellent. Rooms also a little tired. The location does push the rating up but I can understand why they do the minimum here because of it.

Food delicious, lokan rendang superp.. Nik Hasni the waiter give explaination about hotel and food that he served with very experienced.. chef awang... Nice job.. swimming pool just nice but if can upgrade with small slide for children much better..

We were in Novotel Kuala Lumpur for 4 days. The location of the hotel is very convenient, right in the centre of Kuala Lumpur, next to Pavilion mall. Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. Every night we went to the Premier Lounge of the hotel, the food and drinks are nice there. And the very friendly staff makes sure you are looked after. Especially Mr. Myad was very friendly and took good care of us. Thanks Mr. Myad!
