Lovely accommodation with a negative for me

I had mixed feelings about leaving a review as even though this hotel is lovely and has many positive aspects I had a negative experience. I’d specifically booked an accessible room (plus left a note about this in my booking) but when it came to checking in I was told they didn’t have an accessible rooms. I was pointed to some stairs and told that’s where my room was. It was only that I said I’d probably fall down the stairs (as I have balance issues) that an accessible room was then sourced. I had to wait however for quite some time for it to be ready. I had had a long drive to get there, had to be at a function in less than two hours and this delay meant I felt flustered and rushed and was late. I’d recommend if booking an accessible room to double check that there is one available. I’d also recommend the room service breakfast booking form be left on the desk with the other hotel information. It was on a low shelf with the tea and coffee facilities so I didn’t see it. The hotel is however very pleasant and the rooms are nicely furnished and very clean. The buffet breakfast is good too with “barista” coffee available. For most people without accessibility requirements I would recommend.

Very good, staff very nice and efficient. 100% would stay again. Rooms very clean and spacious. Food was good, breakfast and dinner was amazing. Function room was good very clean and staff was very friendly and helped out with anything that we needed

Wonderfully comfortable room that was clean and well appointed. Friday night was quiet, but Saturday parties were making a lot of noise in the parking area till 1 am. Not good when we had a long day of driving on Sunday. But we will be back in the future because the overall experience was great

Our stay at The Hills Lodge Hotel was a nice blend of work and leisure.. From the warm welcome to the elegant, well-appointed room, our stay was short but pleasant and comfortable. The serene ambiance and beautifully landscaped surroundings provided a refreshing escape, where we enjoyed the delicious options for dinner and breakfast. The staff were attentive and genuinely committed to ensuring a pleasant experience. Improvement suggestion would be to add coffee machine to the room

Der Ort Castle Hill ist etwas außerhalb von Sydneys (ca. 45min zum Flughafen und ca. 30 min zur Innenstadt. Dort kann man sich entspannen und erholen. In der Nähe zum Hotel gibt es gute Restaurants und typische Pub's und Shopping Malls. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, sauber und mit Doppelbett, Couchecke und Flatscreen geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad war gross und gepflegt eingerichtet. Das Hotel verfügt auch über einen grossen Pool, der sehr sauber ist. Ein gratis Hotelparkplatz ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Das Hotel ist eine gute Wahl und geeignet für einen Aufenthalt wenn man für einige Tage etwas enspannt und ausserhalb von Sydney verbringen will. Ideal auch für Ausflüge in die Blue Mountains.
