Extremely disappointed, like others i check the facilities available and then decide based on that, if you read the website they have a restaurant, a bar, room service, a mini bar, they do have them but they are all closed not available, if they'd have mentioned any of this at time of booking i wouldn't of booked, guess that's why they decieve you. Breakfast is average and expensive, don't expect choice or a selection its limited and you eat what your given. Book elsewhere imho.

Ich wohnte 2,5 Wochen im Mantra Paramatta in einem Studio mit kleiner Kitchenette. Es gab einen kleinen, aber ausreichenden Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, je 2 Bestecke, Gläser, Tassen, 2 Platten Kocher, aber keine Töpfe, Pfannen oder andere Küchenutensilien. Der Schlafraum war recht groß und von der Ausstattung ok. Das Bad war geräumig, hätte aber mehr Abstellfläche haben können. Es war etwas aus der Zeit gefallen, war ungemütlich und hatte Krankenhauscharakter. Es gab TV, Telefon und WLAN. Das Doppelbett war gemütlich. Leider wurde bei mir nicht immer sauber gemacht. Nach 3 Tagen fragte ich nach und man meinte, das sei on meiner Rate nicht enthalten! Ich bezahlte AUD$ 200 / EUR 99 für ein EZ pro Nacht und Reinigung war da nicht inbegriffen?! Aufgrund meiner Beschwerde wurde dann wenigstens mein Bett gemacht und die Toilette gereinigt (es gab keine WC Bürste!). Auf dem dunklen Teppichboden konnte ich tagelang die hellen Flusen sehen. Gesaugt wurde nur sporadisch. Und in den 2,5 Wochen wurde mein Bett nicht einmal neu bezogen. Das Personal war freundlich, der eine mehr, andere weniger. Das Hotel lag außerhalb des Zentrums von Sydney. Mit dem Zug dauerte die Fahrt zum Circular Quay rund 1 Stunde. 3 Min fußläufig vom Hotel war die Zugstation und ein großes Shopping Center, die Westfield Mall mit unzähligen Modeläden, Cafés, Restaurants. Das war wirklich praktisch. Nächstes Mal würde ich definitiv ein anderes Hotel in Zentrumsnähe und besserem Service wählen.

Still run down and not worth the stay

We stayed here two years ago and it was run down then. It hasn't changed and possibly could be worse than then. Checked in early at 1230 (as arranged as we had things to do) and was upgraded to a spa apartment as per our Accor level which was good. However when we got to the room, the noise from the air conditioning was horrendous. It wasn't just the blowing but something vibrating in the service void. With just the fan running it was 9db with the air cond on it was 35db. We could actually hear it in the corridor before we got to the room. We were offered another room in the same position next to the service void on another floor which was 50% better but even the staff member showing us said she will find us another one without any prompting from us. It was 3pm though by the time we finally got a room and we had to miss one of the items we had planned and had driven 4 hours for. You can't tell me that noise just popped up on that day. The hotel itself, outside of the reception and bar, is run down and somewhat grubby although the rooms were clean. One lift didn't work, the other had buttons missing for certain floors on each side with the void covered with tape that had been punched through allowing access to the inner workings of the panel (surely that can't be safe), exposed wires in hallways, large chunks of missing tiles at the pool, towels from the day before sitting there at the pool the next day, covers off parking gate machinary. It really felt like a dodgy 2 star hotel not an Accor hotel. The other hotel around the corner from another international chain is a mcuh better option. We should have known better than to stay loyal to Accor on this particular occasion given our past experience - but we try. If it was not for the convenience of location this hotel would have nothing going for it. The reception staff though were excellent in understanding these problems and any other query we had and proactively explained member benefits which is always good rather than trying to extract them from staff. It's just a shame they don't have the support of management/owners in looking after the upkeep of the hotel thereby making their jobs harder.

Great location with lovely staff but hotel needs refurb

Great location being close to Westfield, train station and many restaurants. Lovely staff although reception phone wasn’t always answered from room but didn’t mind the trek down as they were very accomodating dealing with in person regarding requests for pillow, toilet paper, towel. Sofa bed was faulty and shower curtain needed change which was rectified by housekeeping easily. Prepaid buffet breakfast at $24 which was much cheaper than walk in price of $30 and was adequate with many options. Dining appeared only serviced by 2 staff, 1 cooking and 1 managing room and bar by herself who were superb considering there were many of us. Stayed on weekend so dining was not open for lunch&dinner but there are many great eateries nearby and we delivered our favourite food in with ease. Parking was convenient and secure underground with access straight to room floor in lift from carpark at $20 a night. Stayed in 1 bedroom apartment, while very clean, spacious and functional with balcony view of pool and fully equipped with all necessary utensils, appliances, hot plate to cook, washing machine/dryer (including dishwashing liquid&powder). Aircon system was uncomfortable and kept blowing cold air at 26 temp so turned it off but it is winter so room was cold. Bed was tired&uncomfortable however pillows and sheets were nice and clean. Requested extra pillow as there was only 2 on bed with cushions and 1 in cupboard. Will not return until hotel has refurbishment upgrading bed, aircon system, etc. The winning factor is their great staff and convenient location that makes one overlook the hotels need for upgrade.

Wir hatte ein Doppel-Zimmer mit kleiner Küche , die uns persönlich leider zu klein war. Ansonsten alles top, die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und entgegenkommend und das Hotel ist nur ein paar Gehminuten von der Zugstation und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt.
