Since the city was so busy with their massive event, we decided to move outside of the city and this hotel was the best choice that we made. It was really peaceful and we had our best sleep here which is the first time for the Sydney trip. The room is spacious with beautiful little details and amenities. In addition, the service is excellent too, Eranja the Front Office Manager has always been helpful during our stay! They also have a sought-after restaurant complex which was so great in terms of foods choices and quality, as well as the ambience, never seen something like this before in Sydney, it is a must try!

I'm a regular guest at the Mercure Rouse Hill, and always have an enjoyable stay. All the staff from the front reception to the ladies who service the room, always make me welcome. The addition of the restaurant to enjoy breakfast or a meal is a positive addition. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. I would highly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

Stayed in 2 rooms for 3 nights (24 Dec to 27 Dec, Reservation number: LVNLBMLM), and no room service whatsover for all 3 nights (beds not made, towels not changed). What a shocker! Upon contacting the hotel after the stay we were told we had to request room service each day we want it. Where in the world would you stay in a hotel with no room service?!

Dear rtjia1, Thank you for your time in reviewing our hotel. While we have only received positive feedback, empathy, and understanding from the majority of our guests that stayed over the holiday season, I am dismayed to read that the limited housekeeping affected your friend's stay so negatively that you had to create a TripAdvisor account and pen a review even though you had not stayed. Due to staff shortages and the fact that the hospitality industry is still in the process of rebuilding their teams after the pandemic, we were unable to service every room in the hotel. This is communicated via signage in all public areas, elevators, and even verbally to our guests checking in. As listed on all signage, we at the reception desk are on hand to assist with any requests. Should anyone from your party brought this to our attention during the 3 night stay, we would have certainly assisted - where we are able to - in providing fresh linen, towels and amenities. Unfortunately, neither you nor your party provided us with the opportunity to do so. While we apologise for not being able to service your room, I would like to publicly appreciate our team's efforts in sacrificing time away from family and loved ones to serve our guests this holiday season. We seek understanding from all our guests for what we are unable to do, however, when given the opportunity to assist - we will always find a solution for our guests. Signed in on Friday 11 November for 3 night stay as my son was getting married. We had a lovely dinner & breakfast then I was driven off to make up & hairdressers. Soon the wedding came that afternoon & it was held at Fagan Park, way out north. I was thankful for the tissues that where supplied by someone & next minute they where married & off they went to sign the register. Back at the Mercure hotel, Rouse Hill when we decided to leave soon after the brides parents, we slowly came home to the hotel & decided to have a bottle of semi sauv blanc wine with 3 glasses to our room. It was about 8.30pm as we slowly sipped our wine, occasionally filling it with ice but soon it was finished & I went to my room & hit the sack. The next day I rang my friends & then the breakfast area but no answer! So I quickly fixed myself up & gave my friends another call & yes they answered! So we soon met & had a late breakfast which we talked about the wedding & how it was nice that I invited them, as my late husband would have enjoyed the decision of this couple! In returning back to our room, my friends where given extra time to pack but that soon came & soon they where driving home. I met my daughter with her young son along with the new married couple to have a nice dinner. But things went from bad to rotten & we left as the young asian waiter has no manners, to my family being served, the drinks ending up in everyone’s meal, to us walking out & my son asking me to make sure I stay here! Was out of their sight & the receptionist said they have gone, so I took a deep breath & headed back over to speak to the senior in charge! I did & even had proof to show him as know one had even come to clean up the dripping mess, through 5 plates of food & onto the floor! The senior in charge was shocked & couldn’t believe the mess & I was polite & said, the new couple have paid for the meaI & now its full of our drink, so they have gone home! After apologising he made the staff start to clean up & he handed me the notes of the meal! I said thank you & went straight back to the Mercure Hotel, Rouse Hill. The next morning I went to reception & explained what happened at the restaurant & I would like a coffee. Polite Ress & Shraddha said one would walk with me, so I made it to a chair & table & soon had a coffee with bacon & egg to follow. I said thank you to Ress & again to Ress & Shraddha when I walked back. I finished packing my bag pulled it out & handed my card in & paid what I owed & waited for a taxi. It was very nice of Shraddha to even bring me a small paper cup of water but I needed it, then soon my taxi arrived & drove me into town.
