Good ambience at the bar and restaurant but the food was average at best. This was compensated by our lovely waitress Sathruwani. Perfect service with a smile.

Sam and Sal were amazing. I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, everything was smooth, comfortable, and welcoming. A special thank-you to the concierge team, especially Sam and Sal, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations and arrangements. Their professionalism and kindness really made a difference and added a personal touch to the stay. Sal even helped us to the train with our luggages which was the cherry on top. He made Sofitel London Gatwick feel like home away from home. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

My daughter and i stayed here for an overnight stay for our early morning flight next day. Hotel was lovely and we both had our own rooms. Bed was comfy but did not expect to be woken at 02.15 by my daughter ringing me to say come to her room quick when i arrived the last thing i intended to find was a bed bug on her pillow. Obvisously there was no way we were staying there so we checked out way before our original time. We did report the finding to the manager and she took a photo of the bug from my daughters phone, now the fact that this hotel is not cheap this is the last thing youd wish to share your bed with but all i have had from this hotel is a thank you for bringing it to their attention and the issuse is under investigation, that was 3 weeks ago and still nothing else. Some kind of compensation or some kind of good will jestur would be nice but to totally sweep it under the carpet is not professional at all. If you stay here check your bed

An ideal stopover before our flight. The hotel is comfortable and quiet and the restaurant food is decent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our flight was from the South Terminal. Access from the hotel is quick and easy via walkway and monorail. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Booked a one night stay after late evening flight arrival The room was very cold and unacceptable and asked for an alternative- we were shown to another room on the same floor (8th) which was even colder - we reverted back to the original room We attended breakfast at 9.45 and many items were not available and not replenished We have stayed here many times previously but “never again”
