Absolute disgrace ripping people off. First off, I booked a Queen room, then they messaged me asking if I wanted to pay to upgrade my "double room" to a Queen - I think I was talking to a chatbot - if not their customer service is disgraceful. Then we went there for a drink for our Tooth Talks Travel YouTube channel. I walked up to the bar and ordered my drink and they put a bill down in front of me with a £2 service charge! £2 for me to walk to the bar, get my own drinks and take it back to my table! Many people would be too embarrassed to ask them to remove it - not me - I told them to remove the rip off charge. This firm is part of the wider problem in the UK - they are out to grab as much money from every poor fkr who passes their door rather than building long term customer loyalty. Disgraceful behaviour in these current times. We will never go back there or stay in any other Sofitel.

We stayed overnight on the 19th March including car parking for two weeks whilst we went on Holiday. The hotel is highly recommended, no air traffic noise, comfortable room, good, clean En-Suite. W also took advantage of the Asian restaurant which was also excellent.

Good hotel with airport parking

We booked directly and took advantage of the park-and-stay option, staying the night we returned from our holiday. We parked in one of the Maple Parking bays in the hotel's car park, handed over the key, and they took the car off-site until the day before our return flight. The room was a reasonable size and had a small fridge, A/C, and good soundproofing. My only gripe is that the bar shuts at 11 pm

We stayed at this Hotel for one night with parking for 8 days, we found the reception staff very efficient and friendly, our room was spacious and quiet, bed very comfortable with lovely pillows, constant hot water in the shower and the Air con was sufficient. We ate at the Asia Restaurant and the food was excellent, and the service was very good We did have an issue with parking at the hotel and found the signage confusing, we ended up parking at the overspill car park and had to move it to the meet and greet car park, on arriving home we were issued a parking fine, but once we informed the Manager at the Sofitel which was a Sunday he responded immediately and on Monday it was duly cancelled, THANK YOU TO SOFITEL MANAGER. We will definitely return when flying from gatwick.
