This was our 2nd visit to Budapest, and the first time at the Novotel Budapest Danube. We had a Danube River view room which was perfect. Good size, comfortable bed, clean, and amazing view across the Danube to the Hungarian Parliament building. A spectacular building, made even more so at night when floodlit. Excellent service from all staff we dealt with at the Novotel, with special thanks to Mr Adam Lorincz who assisted greatly in sorting out our booking weeks before arrival when the Accor website wasn't working as it should be.

The location is very nice right by the Donau. Hotel has what you need. Nice clean rooms with clean bathroom. Ok breakfast Nice friendly staff.

Very good hotel, well located, just steps from the metro, tram, and bus, with stunning views of the Danube River and the Hungarian Parliament. The room is reasonable (I missed more space in the shower, although the bathroom also had a bathtub), the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast is delicious, with the bonus of being able to eat with a view of the beautiful river and the Parliament. The only thing I missed was Freshly squeezed orange juice.

Hotel was nice and clean , check in swift and breakfast decent quality and choice , is a buffet. 5 mins walk from big red bus stop 17 and 10 minutes walk from chain bridge in one direction and maragrit island the other . View from hotel at breakfast is parliament , stunning ! Only negative , water not complimentary when initial bottle drank in room and the rooms air con does not work outside if summer months so room constantly at 24 degrees even though borrowed a fan at reception and windows open. Otherwise good hotel.
