Excellent location. Literally walking distance to everywhere. The docks. The trains and all the restaurants and cafes. So close by. Rooms are small but clean. Breakfast is ok. There is variety but needs upgrading in quality. All staff were helpful and friendly. The major issue here is aircon. The policy they have is wrong. Simply wrong. I was grateful that they sent someone to open our window otherwise I would have asked for a refund. I’m all for energy saving etc. but at the end of the day the Hotel is a business and we are paying customers and you need to stop this no aircon policy. Shame as the hotel location is perfect. We did enjoy our stay.

Your hotel charged my card: €125.10 - day 6/5 €16.25 - day 1/5 €83.80 - day 30/4 €24.93 - day 29/4 AMOUNT PAID - €250.08 TOTAL PAID AT YOUR HOTEL ACCOUNTING ON THE INVOICE, the valid amount is €124.03, corresponding to taxes, breakfast, and the bar. Refund - NOT YET MADE - €126.05 (in my favor) ESTAFA. HACEN CARGOS EN LA TARJETA SIN AUTORIZACIÓN. Y NO HACEN LA DEVOLUCIÓN

I am stating in Mercure every visit to Budapest. Location is the main key here. I am still not happy with the Ironing room policy/In other countries there is an iron in rooms in ACCOR. This time we took the junior suite. Amazing room floor 10 Sauna included

Great hotel, great location

The hotel is in the centre of the shopping area so the location is great. The hotel is also only a 5 minute walk from a stop for the hop on/hop off bus. Lots of reviews complain that the hotel is very warm. As a person that is always cold, I very much appreciated the room being so warm. I was in room 904 which faced the street but I didn't hear any noise during my two night stay. The staff at the hotel were efficient and professional and the cleaning staff were very friendly. The room I stayed in had a bath tub which was very welcome. However, the bathroom was small and not well lit. The entire room was poorly lit and I found it difficult to find a good space to apply my make up. I used the bathroom mirror but because the bathroom is so small I had nowhere to put my makeup bag. I eventually put a towel in the sink and rested my make up bag there. I know this is quite minor but for me, this is important.

Great location, friendly staff

I booked a courtyard view room but unfortunately my room 903 was facing the street so was very noisy. The room was spotlessly clean and super comfy bed. Loved having a bath rather than just a shower. It was so hot in the room, contacted reception who arranged for an engineer to make sure the radiator was turned off. They also bought a form to sign for them to open the window wider, however my window was not able to be opened further. I did ask and received a fan which really helped. The staff were very helpful. Great to have a fridge also which they made sure was empty of mini bar items so I could put a few things in. I did not pay for breakfast (€17) nor used the restaurant. The hotel is in a fantastic location and I enjoyed my stay overall.
