rude and poor service

I've stayed in many Ibis hotels across Europe, and I've never encountered such rude and insolent service. My questions were dismissed, and the staff seemed impatient to be there. I'm very disappointed with this stay.

Don't expect 5 star at 1 star price Best thing about this place was the staff. breakfast at the price was good . Small rooms but that's what you pay for

A cheap and cheerful hotel in Bilbao city centre. Rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be had for a small extra cost (€10.00). The food was excellent and varied. The dining room was open from 6am to 11am. If your requirement is for somewhere to lay your head while you explore the beautiful city of Bilbao, then this is the hotel for you.

Decent bed, good air conditioning for hot days, average breakfast & quick check-in. Lidl and Carrefour supermarket are 5 minutes away. Location is 18 minutes to the Guggenheim and 15-20 minutes to Casco Viejo Beyond that, it’s very minimalist- no room amenities such as no extra sockets to charge devices, no box of tissues, no trash can in the room (only bathroom), no notepad/stationary, no fridge, no kettle, no extra coffee, no bathroom amenities such as shower cap/bar of soap/body lotion, shower gel was running very low and no safe to store valuables. It’s literally a place to sleep.

Great location not that far from Plaza Mayuo where you can get the bus to/from the airport for €4.50 cash (or cheaper if you use a local travel card). Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is standard Ibis basic - bed, bathroom, tea/coffee (but no kettle - go to the water dispenser on each floor), and not much else. But my stay was comfortable and quiet with OK bed and air con. Breakfast is pretty good with a wide selection of hot and cold local and international items. Lifts busy at peak breakfast/check out times.
