Great for a short trip to Montreal

Stayed here on a tour of Canada after landing at the airport. Very clean, well equipped and a short drive from downtown Montreal and Mont Royale. Tv had limited channels in English and a difficult-way to change channels. We we’re able to stream from our firestick instead

Stayed couple of nights at the Novotel Montreal Airport for a business visit. As mentioned in other comments, although not a real problem for me, this would not qualify as an Airport hotel by international standard given its distance to the passenger terminal and the lack of shuttle. Check-in was a nightmare where the booking was nowhere to be found. Us (party of 3 rooms) checking in past midnight, it was very frustrating. Bookings had to be recreated manually, Accor accounts were not linked. Couple of attempts to get some explanation failed, until Jaz picked that up and fixed it. It was unclear what happened but someone checked in another customer on our booking, and a ghost room (with no customer was apparently created and attached to my credit card). All too shady. The a carte breakfast is also a little surprising for a Novotel and the staff there was amazingly friendly. Rooms were very spacious and bedding was comfortable. Note that there is nothing in walking distance to the hotel. If you are car less, the hotel restaurant is your best choice. Uber is available too!

We stayed at the Novotel Montreal Airport for one night after a grueling 24-hour journey, and while the hotel itself was comfortable and clean, the location was a major disappointment. Despite its name, this hotel is much farther from the airport than we anticipated, making it inconvenient for tired travelers. It took a significant amount of time to get there, and the cost of transportation from the airport added to the frustration. For a hotel marketed as an "airport" property, the distance and hassle were unexpected and disappointing. That said, once we arrived, the room was adequate, and the staff were friendly. It served its purpose for the night, but the location and logistics overshadowed the overall experience. If you’re looking for a truly convenient airport hotel, I’d recommend exploring other options closer to the terminal to save time, money, and effort.

What a DUMP!

This hotel is nowhere near PET Airport or Dorval. It cost over $30 and took about 20 minutes to get there by taxi. The hotel itself was dingy, not very clean and poorly maintained. There is NOTHING anywhere nearby so, arriving about 8 p.m., we had to eat in the overpriced and very uncomfortable dining room. Food was not quite good enough to qualify as mediocre. The best part about the whole experience (other than leaving!) was a very friendly waitress at breakfast the next morning. Definitely do NOT recommend this dump. If you must stay at the airport, stay AT the airport, not miles away in this hole.

The overall stay was great, including the food, service and room cleanliness, but this review is mainly a shoutout to one person in particular. while on the 5 hours drive home, I got a call from Nicole Roach from the hotel, advising me that I'd left my wallet in the room, and that she would post it personally on her way home from work in order for me to have it in time for a work trip to the US later in the week. Nicole then called me the next day to confirm she'd sent it and that she wanted to share the tracking details with me. It's not often that one experiences this level of kindness, which is a reflection on Nicole, but also of the Novotel she represents. Thanks again Nicole!
