The room hasn't been serviced on the 2nd day. I left the room in the morning and came back at 8:30 pm and noticed no one had cleaned the room and no clean towel, bed not made, no milk, no water. I called the room service and they didn't turn up. Then I made a second call to the duty manager, Then the room service turned up and did their work. End up, it was 10 pm. I had my shower and got to bed. For one of the beds, they replaced the bed sheets, and the duvet sheets are very smelly; I think that has been used somewhere else. I noted on the bed sheet few dirt's. I am a silver member, and I went for the free drink. The bar staff treated me like I was a beggar. On my arrival, the staff at the door thought I was an Uber driver, and he didn't let me talk; he talked to me like I was picking up someone. This is not right; first, they have to wait for my response; rather, they are thinking of their own idea. I am very disappointed overall with the services, and this is the 5th time I have stayed at this hotel and had very bad experiences. I have booked the Luxury Room and the services like this are not acceptable.

concierge excellent throughout the stay but nothing positive once we entered the hotel, reception area newly renovated and impressive. We booked for 2 nights in a upgraded king room but left after I night. The room was small, furniture very old and tired and evidence of vomit on the furniture had not been cleaned. It took 2 requests and 5 hours to have it attended. Communication both prior to and whilst we were there was appalling and as a loyal Diamond Accor member its our worst experience in our association with Accor. Tom, acting GM, terrible.

My stay at the hotel was wonderful, with outstanding service, great amenities, and a fantastic location. The only recommendation I have is renewing the room decor, as it would take the experience to the next level. Overall, I would happily return and recommend this hotel to others seeking a stay in Brisbane!

My wife and I stayed here before and after our wedding in late September - the room was immaculate and well appointed. We pre arranged some upgrades including free breakfast which was tantalizing. The overall service experience could not be faulted.

Management need to take a close look

I stayed for three nights and have never been more stunned at the pure lack of service and ethical standards. Rooms outdated. To charge your phone/ laptop bring the complete charger as there are no USB or USBc outlets. These were the least of the issues. Issues arose after first service. Consumables. Yes, water etc did not get restocked. My personal food in fridge were stored well until after first service. Suddenly everything froze so I had to throw out some food. The fridge was set extremely cold so I turned it down. All good again for next 24 hours. After next (painful) service it suddenly started freezing again. However that started to pale into insignificance. Being a solo female traveler I have the luxury of never having to check the position of the toilet seat. Until after first service. Toilet seat up. Ok I think they cleaned it. Nope. Toilet dirty. So why was it up? Used by cleaner and not cleaned or put toilet seat down. I sent some feedback. My penalty? No service next day at all. They wouldn’t answer my call so I’ll went down to reception after my day at work. No reason they could say it wasn’t serviced. They will do it now. Return later. Bed made tick. Towels replenished tick. Dirty cups and glasses still there. Water just dumped ( but happy they were there and the generous serve of two teabags). The icing on the cake was noticing that the packet of biscuit’s I had purchased and eaten only one, was suddenly missing several biscuits. No one except myself and presumably service had been in my room. The night manager of course was apologetic as he had learnt, but the bigger issue is the conduct of the staff. I can deal with old outdated rooms but knowing staff are eating and presumably doing whatever they wish in my room either my belongings and management don’t seem to care is a great concern. Oh and don’t get to excited about a comfy bed, it’s a hump in the midfield do choose a side.
