We really enjoyed our brief stay. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were lovely and helpful, and the beds were super comfy, which was exactly what we needed after a long day. The hotel also smells amazing when you first walk in! There were just a few little things that could have made the stay even better. We booked for four people, but the room had only been set up for two, so we needed to ask for extra towels, milk, hot chocolate and cups. This wasn’t a big issue though, as the staff were very apologetic and brought everything straight up without hesitation. The room was on the smaller side, but as we were only staying for the night and weren’t planning on spending much time in the room, it worked perfectly fine for us. It would also have been nice to have some information in the room about local attractions, nearby restaurants or places to eat. Another nice improvement would be double-glazed windows, as quite a bit of street and road noise comes through. Overall, we had a good stay. After a long day, having a clean, tidy room, lovely staff and really comfortable beds was exactly what we needed.

Arrived with a friend who had unexpectedly hurt her leg and had crutches after several days in hospital, the receptionist was amazing helped us get our luggage in to our room, sorted our parking and gave us a room close to the elevator. And did it all with a lovely smile and was so thoughtful

No shampoo nor conditioner in room, our shower was part of toilet, only separated by shower curtain. No space for clothes. Reception staff rude and unhelpful, room was called at 1105 to know when we were checking out. Never for a long stay but rather just en passant. I will not stay with you next time I go to Christchurch. Govt rate offered by email checking in with your staff was double the price than booking.com....

Only thing that would make it better is some movies to watch on the main entertainment system. My work computer cant watch movies so was a bit bored watching tv channels (I hate TV).
