The stay was brilliant and the hotel was very family friendly. Our 2 year old loved the swimming pool. The customs shed was a great place for food. We were looked after by a server called Lit for our stay. He was very helpful and kept bringing strawberries for our daughter. He definitely went the extra mile to make our experience the best it could be. We would definitely recommend.

Amazing hotel with great facilities

Just got back from a two night stay, and wanted to say what a lovely time we had the facilities are amazing the pool and sauna was a favourite with us and all very clean. The staff were all so friendly especially the bar staff made us feel at home my daughter loved the little extras for children the activity pack and the bedtime story book, and the games area was a nice touch. A big shout out to Lit Barbara who made our mornings everytime we came down for breakfast he would greet us with a massive smile we never needed for anything breakfast was a definite 10/10 we can’t wait to come and stay again.

It is a shame I only stayed one night, because it was an amazing experience. The room with a balcony was great, definitely worth the upgrade, fantastic view towards Cardiff Bay. I also want to praise the overall guest service, the breakfast and the leisure centre. The highlight was the cheerful and friendly service from Sabina during breakfast. Will definitely return!

Hotel was fantastic especially for family's would definitely return The hotel decor is lovely Food and staff great Bar staff very attentive The pool opening hours are great this is a plus The rooms are comfortable and spacious with a fridge with essentials

Lovely hotel but let down by customer service.

This is a lovely hotel, and it's great for kids with the pool, etc., but sadly, the staff let me down. I originally booked a family room and paid online. It was not until a few days later that I noticed that I hadn't received a confirmation email for my booking. I had screenshotted the reference number of my original booking, so called and asked if i had a reservation. I was told the reservation had been canceled, but I was only told it may have been a "glitch." I received no cancellation email. I am so glad I queried this when I did. I was then told the room I wanted to book was sold out and the more expensive option was available. So, I booked the hotel and paid the higher price, even though the cancellation wasn't my fault! We arrived at the hotel and were welcomed by staff. The hotel was very friendly and great for what we needed. Our bedroom was a good size, and the beds were comfortable. My daughter played with her toys while I put our bathroom bits away, etc. The next thing I knew, my 3-year-old daughter had half a can of beer in her hand and was calling me to tell me. One of her toys had rolled under the bed, and she had gone to find it and found an open beer instead. I checked under the bed, and the carpet was wet from the beer. I went to reception, as there were no phones in the room. I explained what my child had just found and was told, "Housekeeping are normally good". I was told a manager would come to my room to speak to us. After waiting and hearing nothing, I returned to reception and explained we were still waiting. He called someone and said they should be there now. I went back to the room, and I was met by someone I think was in charge of housekeeping. She moved the bed out of the way and said sorry, but it wasn't her fault, as she hadn't cleaned the room. I said I was more concerned about the fact that a 3-year-old had had access to alcohol. She then told me it wasn't her fault again, Apologized, and left. My eldest daughter had already left to go out, or I think I may have left entirely because no one seemed to care. I booked the hotel mainly because of the pool I had promised my daughter we would go to. The pool was clean and well-equipped, and towels were easy to find. When we left the pool, the same; lady who had vivisted our room asked if we had robes in our room (I presume what I paid extra for in my booking) I said no and she said she would send some up. We waited but needed to get some dinner, so I thought they would be there when we returned to the room, but I couldn't see them. When we packed up to leave the next day and opened the wardrobe, the robes and slippers had been put away in there, and there were only two, and we had four guests in our room, so there wasn't enough anyway, and we had no need for them by then. The breakfast was good, and there was plenty of choice for everyone. When we left, I spoke to Megan at the desk, and she was very apologetic and took some notes. I don't usually leave reviews, but it could have been a different outcome if my daughter hadn't been sensible enough not to drink what she had found, and I don't think the staff cared what had happened.
