Travelling on a ten day holiday with Titan Travel with guide Denise and driver Claudio we had a two night stay at the Mercure Palermo, being a solo traveler the room is very important, I had a lovely room with a balcony was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities, tv, hairdryer, lovely bathroom, we didn’t have a meal at the hotel on arrival in the evening we had a short walk to Osteria Sciapo Restaurant were we had a delicious meal served to us the staff were friendly and helpful excellent service, on our second nights stay I booked a table at the Mercure restaurant as did other travellers in our group the food and the service was excellent, breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choices. During our stay we visited Enna, Cefalu, Montreal, and had a walking tour of Palermo. On departure from the hotel I paid my hotel room tax at reception the staff were friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel good central location for getting around Palermo, I enjoyed my stay.

Above-average Mercure, in good and relatively quiet area of Palermo. Good-sized modern room, huge terrace, clean and well maintained, plenty of recharging points for appliances, good bathroom with modern and powerful shower. Reception staff outstanding. Pity about the carpet rather than hard flooring, but it's a question of taste.
