I booked a "Dependance double room", which is located on the fifth floor in a building a block away from the main hotel. The room was clean and modern, but a bit noisy when it came to the plumbing and next door guests. Breakfast was good with a variety of options, especially for those with a sweet tooth.

No car park available when I arrived and it was booked a dirty room in a building a long way away at breakfast Bus loads of Americans with no table available to sit. Bed soft and you felt movement of the other person all the time. A disaster of a stay.

The hotel is close to the old part of Palermo in a pretty quiet side street. Premium rooms are in another building 30m from the hotel, they were nice and ckran with a walk out balcony. So far so good. The issue started at breakfast, where they obviously allow dogs to the restaurant. That would be ok, if the dog stay nicely i.e. under the table. But the dog was actually carried around the buffett very close to the food items. A clear no-no. We checked with the staff and they told us, that the lady had checked with reception that dog are ok. I have an issue with this...
