We were about to cancel our holiday because, just as we were starting our trip, we had to return home due to flooding. In the end, we paid new flight ticket, we decided to continue, and thanks to Mercure, we were able to forget what we had been through. The hotel has a great location, the staff were very kind, and the room was clean and comfortable. Many thanks to all of you.

Perfectly fine - not as much in the centre of things as I’d thought but that meant a quiet nights sleep, room had a balcony and en-suite. Buffet breakfast was very good but no option to have anything earlier for early check out. There is a small bistro bar too but I didn’t use it. Beware it’s a good 25 min walk from the train station or you can catch the bus
