Avoid unless you have no choice. The rooms are soo old and the rugs even older. Not a good feeling to not want to walk on it without sticking to it. Not a good choice as there is so much better in Palermo… staff is not helpful either just seemed kind of rude and dismissive when asking questions

While we do have some older elements in parts of the property, these comments are quite rare compared to the positive experiences shared by most visitors. We stayed two nights in Mercure Palermo. The first night is quite disastrous. The room is in a separate building and there is no wifi. I tried to call reception, the phone connection was not working as well. They promised to fix in some time but never fixed. I have to spend my own cost for the wifi. I want a refund or compensation for the experience. The room they changed for the second night also didnt fit to what we booked. We booked for a large double bed but only gave us two single bed...
