My teenage daughter and I stayed for 1 night for a gig at Bristol Sounds. I was apprehensive, but I was totally wrong. The service received from each receptionist and from the bar staff was wonderful. We didn't dine. The room was great. We had requested a high and quiet room and was given what we wanted and a room away from the main stretch. The location was brilliant from the event. There are a couple of local bars and restaurants. The room was comfortable, with great transport links

Nishat at the front desk was great..the nights team need some training though.

On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant gentleman, Nishat, who was very swift with the check in and the only good interaction we had with the staff at this hotel. On returning to the hotel in the night after 12am, we noticed the room was cold. An hour after switching the heating on, we went down to the front desk since believe it or not there aren’t any telephones in the rooms to call reception. This is where we met a very rude European woman, who was walking off halfway through our conversation. She was doing a “system check” which I guess you have to complete by walking away from the computer. Running the night audit is not a system check. She then offered a blanket instead of telling me what the issue was, I work in a 4 star hotel so I know when hotels have maintenance issues. If she had just been honest and said the heating was not working in the hotel, I would have understood. But there was no interest in what I had to say. Judging by her attitude we realised she didn’t want to help solve the heating issue. So we asked for some snacks, just a packet of crisps and chocolate. Her reply was “the bar is closed”. I understood at this point she was lazy and did not want to help us with anything. This review could have been avoided had she just apologised. Maybe some training is needed for the night staff, there is not much to do on a night shift in a hotel, except the “system check” and a walk around every couple of hours. The stay over all was average, not a bad hotel for 1 night. But the interaction with the night staff, really was a total shame. This being said, the young man “Nishat” was very pleasant at arrival and if it was not for him this review would have been 1 star instead of 3.

The check in from Tiago was fab. He was so.accomodaring of our requests, friendly and efficient. Thank you so much for this welcome. Bosses of Trivago please promote him. The room was nice as well and met our needs. Finally breakfast lovely..

A nice hotel but not for everyone especially if you have mobility problems!!

We stayed here as a couple travelling down to Bristol for a festival. I am disabled so I chose this hotel for a good central hotel . A few of the promises made on booking.com were not upheld. The parking was our main issue as it says it has parking onsite but it doesn’t it’s a good 10-15 mins walk from the hotel which was not good when I was tired after travelling and have mobility issues. However you do get £6 off if you stay at the ibis. We were also booked into a room with a bath when I had requested one with a walk in shower. The outside of the hotel is near to bars and restaurants so it can be noisy but we were exhausted so we slept well. The hotel is nicely decorated and maintained. Very modern interior. Rooms nice size and functional. Breakfast was nice buffet style but good enough. The room was expensive for what it was but as its city centre I guess that’s why it was so expensive. Hotel 24 hrs and nice friendly staff but they don’t seem to have good local knowledge which was not what we expected.

No cash, height barrier

Bradstour Solo travel - Opinia zatwierdzona w TripAdvisor

Bang average really, no mention of height barrier on booking. A van will not fit. Ordered a pint of Stella and it looked good but wouldn't accept my cash. No atmosphere anyway went to pub near Tesco called the Hatchet. Pool table and food was cheap.
