Have stayed at the Manly Pacific previously and was extremely happy with that stay. I found on this occassion the room could have been cleaner (the carpet mat under the bed was filthy) and the bathroom could have been cleaner. We arrived earlier than 2 pm and on trying to see if we could checking in earlier. I found one of the staff members at the front desk to be rude, unreasonable and with a smart mouth. Apart from this employee with a poor attitude, I recommend the hotel.

Stayed here for business. Had heard great things and was looking forward to stay. Pros: great location, really good breakfast Cons: hotel appears to be 2 buildings. If you stay on the ocean side I suspect it is like the photos. If you get one of the back rooms you end up staring at the front building. The back building is an old hotel that has been given a once over but things like the bathroom show their age (toilet fitting old and a little wonky/loose) so it is a little bit "mutton dressed up as lamb". I think to get the full experience spend as much as you can and realise the standard rooms are just that (so don't pay the earth for them).

I am a platinum Accor plus member. Have been visiting this hotel for over a decade. VIP services treated me really well. Breakfast was fantastic as usual. I love the ambiance of being across the road from the beach. Weather was a bit wet during this trip but still had a fantastic time.

This “luxury” hotel was an absolute disgrace from start to finish. The room we checked into was covered in mould, debris and chipped furnishings. Our meals at the hotel restaurant arrived 40 minutes apart, meaning one diner finished well ahead of the other. And to top it all off, we were double charged for the hotel booking after we checked out. A stressful, awful experience from beginning to end.
