Perfect for one night. Location is strategic, close to downtown and motorway, quiet sleep over night. Clean, reception 24h. Reception team extremely gentle. Just a concern on the price as 85 € for 1 night with no breakfast plus 7 € for internal parking appears to me a bit too expensive.

First although it says near the airport, the hotel is a good 15 to 20 minute ride away from the terminal. There is nothing to do or see around the hotel as its a residential area, except for an Aldi which is closed on Sunday to our bad luck. Towels and all purpose soap gel were provided; all other toiletries have to purchased from the reception. The shower in our room had half a glass partition with no door or full enclosure such that the entire bathroom floor would be wet after a shower. Moreover the shower stall is very compact and a large sized person would have difficulty fitting in. Breakfast buffet was highly basic, but it opens up at 4.30 a.m. for those who need to catch an early flight. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and check in was easy. Overall, If you just need a place to sleep for the night and have a quick coffee before your flight, then I suppose this is will suffice. But even then, you would get better hotels in the city for the same price.

Be very careful when booking IBIS Aeropuerto Barcelona Viladecans - I thought I was booking the IBIS Aeropuerto Barcelona Viladecans and accidentally booked IBIS BUDGET Aeropuerto Barcelona Viladecans. The properties are adjoined and I made the booking late at night, tired...my bad. Still, thought it would be ok for a quick night before flying out early. At least the room was clean, though hotel seemed tired and hallway carpet needed some TLC. My main issue is even when booking a "budget discount hotel", while I don't have many expectations, I do expect to at least have hot water to shower. NOPE - not even luke warm. Let it run a bit, still nope. No hot water via the sink either. Front desk seemed at a loss how to address. Additionally, if they advertise free Wi-Fi, it would be nice if the Wi-Fi actually worked. Front desk just sighed and said 'it's been having issues'. BIG issue as in it doesn't work. Again, after realizing my mistake and knowing I was staying at the BUDGET version of IBIS Aeropuerto Barcelona Viladecans, I didn't have high expectations. Unfortunately even my low expectations were not met. Sorry IBIS/Accor. you need to do better.

Noisy drunks outside & staff not quietening them

Noisy people, sat outside drinking & being very loud & drunk until well after midnight. The outdoor seating area is at the front of one of the ibis hotels, is totally inappropriate. We had to be up at 04:00 to catch a flight. No phone in room to ring reception to complain. Why didn’t the staff in reception of either ibis hotel use their initiative & tell them to be quiet? Not a place to recommend if you need a quiet night

Targeted for robbery, do not stay here

For starters, my partner and I were targeted for robbery when we were both in the room. Two men were able to open our locked door without a problem!!! When providing the description of the men that attempted to rob our room, we got confirmation that the motel had been previously targeted for robbery in the past and all the lady did was call the police and change our key card. We checkout the same night. DO NOT STAY HERE. better to pay more and be safe then risk it.
