Lovely hotel in the centre of Reading.Room is clean and the facilities good. Despite being in the city centre it is quiet and a great place to rest during the day and night. The reception staff were especially helpful, particularly on the early checkin I had arranged online

At very short notice, due to travel difficulties caused by Storm Bert, I needed to find a private place to do a confidential presentation on Teams. Ionna was really understanding, found a room and made sure it was set up for me, even made sure I had coffee and water. I only needed the room for an hour, so it can’t have been convenient for her, but she saved the day for me. I’m truly grateful. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

A disappointing Nova Hotel Visit

A disappointing visit to this hotel. Booked because of pool,sauna and steam room. The pool was freezing only 4 loungers crammed together. Nowhere to sit at all and I have mobility problems. People were walking around with shoes on and were getting towels from changing rooms to pile up to sit on.

Four (nearly five) stars for a family break.

We had a weekend stay for a family event, using three rooms. Generally really excellent. Lost a star because the pool was quite chilly (far too cold for a baby), one room was too warm (no aircon) and the shower in our adapted room didn’t drain well. I also found the breakfast quite expensive when having to pay for 12 of them . But the location is fabulously placed if you need to be in Reading, all the staff were really lovely and helpful (I’m in a wheelchair and they went the extra step to help), and the room was really comfy. I’d like to give five stars, but that chilly pool really made me a bit sad and we only used it once where I’d hoped to use it every day, so I decided to make it four stars.

Wonderful welcome yesterday from Marissa, Raquel and Yassin who couldn't do enough to help and we're great fun! Nice room with plenty of space and pillows. Breakfast also good value. Would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Reading.
